Tenergy 05 fh and tenergy 05fx. What I use on my viscaria, tried rasant and other rubbers nothing feels quite the same on that blade
ZJK has changed to T05FX since early last year.
It may sound meaningless but it really depends on your style. T05 and 64 are very different.
P.S. Some people already found spinning poly balls with tenergies pretty difficult. To be honest I don't think Tenergy would be best choice nowadays regardless of baldes.
For backhand T64 is great so is T05FX. I can use T05 on my backhand but I feel either T64 or T05FX is better for backhand than T05.
But get what ever you want. You could just use the same rubbers on the Viscaria as you had on the PG7. Also, the new Joola Rhyzm P would be very good. New Rhyzm for the Poly ball.
I at one stage had a boosted h3 Neo prov on the forehand, I would have stayed with it only I couldn't keep it clean so switched back to tenergy. My personal preferences is Tenergy over everything else. I have used so many different ESN rubbers and none feel quite the same as tenergy.Hi xVill! I'm planning to get DHS Hurricane 3 (Provi) on my forehand and T64 on my backhand, Same setup with Zhang Jike. Any thoughts?
I would contend that any rubber works well with the Viscaria. I consider it the perfect blade; controllable, powerful, and friendly. I've had good experiences with Hurricane and Bluefire though, so consider those!
Technique over equipment. The equipment is not as important as the technique so focus on developing your technique. And in my status and my signature one of the big things that technique is about is stated. More SPiN, More SPiN; Spin is everything. Well, spin is not really everything, but the technique that gets you more and more spin is a big part of improving and getting to a higher level of play. And since I have seen a couple of guys actually loop with a sandpaper racket, I know it is not dependent on the equipment.
BTW, the guy I was talking about who, with no warm up or getting used to the racket, switched from a TBS with Tenergy to Sandpaper and beat a sandpaper expert handily, the sandpaper guy called him the Cornflake Kid, because at one point his photo was on the front of the Wheaties box. Lets see if that gives you a hint of who it was.
But the other player I saw actually loop with sandpaper is Tahl Leibovitz. He is pretty amazing with sandpaper when he practices with it. But he is a few notches lower than the Cornflake Kid.![]()
