Always different depending on speed and position of the ball. In general shots that dont change the hight of the ball much. So top or down spin lead to mistakes if you aren't carefull or skillfull enough. So give it back with no spin aswell, but focus on placement. Few examples: short return, deep into his body or away from the opponents stronger side. Alternatively try chiquita on shorter balls.

BH spinny serves dont differ a lot from FH, the principles on how you return the ball are the same. Try to understand how each spin type can be achieved with this serve. Then in games look how the opponent touches the ball.
Typical for the BH serve is that there is still some sidespin mixed in.

If you want to play short you need to brush alot on the side of the ball, otherwise flick with the correct angle. Against long balls, as long as you have good spin the ball will get arc and go down, otherwise you need to read the spin and adjust. The same applies to long backhand serves, as long as you return with good topsin it do not matter if you read a bit wrong. Without this you need to read the spin, look if he hits under/goes down or behind/side/goes up. Short return you can go with the spin or against the spin, i think the majority goes with the spin if the want to play short with fh against backhandserve.

Assuming a SHORT serve no spin...

Short receive... get real early on the bounce... LIGHT light grip... bat angle very open... step to ball, do not use big arm motion... do a tiny side swipe, like a few cm with super light grip...

Flip... step in, catch ball on top of bounce, have tip of bat either to side for straight flip, or down 45% for something safer between a banana and straight flip.

Assuming a LONG serve no spin...

A few ways... one is to open bat some and catch ball top of bounce drive forward trough the ball a tiny off center firm up at impact or soften to be safer. Another is to let the ball fall down, even below table height... you are taking the downward energy of the ball plus your upward/forward fast bat... now you make a ton of spin and safety. Loose/medium grip.

For long spinny underspin ball... you have to read spin and WHERE the ball is going to be in 3D. One way is to let ball fall down some, keep a loose grip, get hips down for leverage and explode up/forward and whip into ball with loose grip to get huge spin. Another way is to open the bat, take ball on rise halfway to net or net height... ball has a lot of upward energy, so you do not need to lift so much... drive through ball forward and little up, impact a touch off center... now you got a fast loop happening.

When in doubt, topspin. Practice flipping the short ones and looping the long ones. Much easier to handle dead balls with a relaxed grip and fine contact. Focus on moving early and getting in position with good balance. Placement is key, especially keeping it low; don't try to add too much speed and spin. With sidespin, try going with the spin and against the spin; either approach works, but they feel different and require different kinds of contact. Figure it out -- trial and error is the best way to do this -- and you'll end up with better feel for handling any kind of spin.

Against nospin short serves:

For double inverted players, strongest receive is to just chiquita it, you can select whatever placement you want and aim it to the most difficult places for your opponent. You can do either spinny or powerful chiquitas.

Second strongest receive is to FH pushflick which creates a fast ball but with mild underspin on it which can be a very safe receive but still a nightmare for opponents. They will usually respond with a weak opening (unless your placement sucked).

Third strongest I think are sideswipes and aggressive long pushes.

Worst option is to short push because slight misjudgment of the spin will lead to it either popping high or dumping it into the net. But if opponent is standing too far back the short push is low risk high dividend but you need good technique for this.
