maybe they are used to deal with sponges that are as tough as old shoe leather but come alive when boosted and still keep their "close- in "capability.

Playing with R5pro for sometime now and I've found another problem, it's the weight. My sheet after one layer of seamoon only weights about 44g, significantly lighter than all my forehand rubbers (~50g) which affect my feeling quite a lot.
Finally decided to glue it on my 729 Z2 (96g) to compensate.

Your R5Pro weight about 44g is Red colour or Black colour.

Pro editions of the R3 and R5 only come in black!

R5pro only has black version, if you're looking for red then there's only the normal R5

Finally glued the Rxton 3 pro. Took me a while after being disappointed with rxton 5 pro.

Will test tonight. But just from bouncing it, it feels nice and firm, and it has more rebound than rxton 5 pro. So i think I will like it.

If i boost it, it may be unstoppable like the gtx.

That looks beautiful! What blade model it Is?
I must admit R3pro feels quite better than R5pro to me, a little less tacky but the bounce was just right. Even for Serving was easier/spinny. Didnt test it boosted, Let us know if its worth it.

This is the Loki Arthur zlc pro. Its Koto-ayous-zlc-ayous core.

So i tested the rxton 3 pro. Its got good tackiness, good grip, good arc, and performed pretty good unboosted.

Speed is pretty good, like 8/10. Its similar speed or just slightly faster than the new untacky H3, and quite faster than the old tacky H3. I feel it would benefit from booster though, get a bit more kick and power.

Also, i feel the dwell time is a bit low. I'll test it more this week, but it might also benefit from baby oil. I feel the rubber could catch the ball a bit better.

I wonder if this really is the same rubber as GTX. Overall, i like it. I think it may be significantly better with booster, so Ill test that in coming days or weeks too.

Be sure to break the rubber in too, dwell time will increase a bit after some hours of use!

NZ to be precise. Sometimes it pays to contact the seller and ask them . I had the problem when it came to buy glues and boosters and after contacting a seller they said "No problem" and we were in business.

I was frustrated with the R5Pro as previously stated, so i moved it to my favorite Stuor Harimoto zlc.

I won 3-0 against 2100 penhold guy. So i guess its not too bad.

It definitely does feel better after changing blades.

😁 That is what I do, forever changing rubbers from one blade to the other. Today I will play another "new " combo using R9 on the FH and "El pinko" on the back. I had that R9 on my slowest blade and then on the fasted blade and tonight I will play it on a medium speed inner SDC blade that will probably vibrate the fillings out of my teeth. 🤣
Still it's all good fun.

Loki seems to have obsessed with the Rxton line haha. I personally do not like that name, it makes no meaning to me. Arthur sounds cooler
