View attachment 3523View attachment 3524View attachment 3525 For TT it could help to judge a controversial edge ball :)

Replay an exciting stroke.. :p

Great idea, this makes the sport exciting to for the audience. I went to the ATP Tennis World Tour Final in London 2010 it was amazing! When they used Hawk Eye, it had a heart beat pumping noise around the stadium to make the atmosphere tense. It was awesome! I think this sort of stuff is attracting for children to.

Wow, wish I could understand that. I hear the Chinese do a lot of research in table tennis. Do you know anyone who would kindly translate some of that text buddy

In general, they not only do it for TT, but for all possible sports, like badminton, tennis and etc. They have the software for each sport where they can input all kinds of data, not only including those standard stuff, like unforce error, serve and etc. They could also analyze the emotion of the opponent when whether he is leading or trailing behind. He used Samsonov as example, Samsonov will walk very lightly to pick up the ball when he is in relax mode, but he tends to be more playing in a consistence way and wait for opponent to make an error during the critical decision point, like 9-9, 8-8 or so.

But they have a few code of conduct. They will not analyze their own CN member, and they will not show the results to any player. Because they do feel that they should not interfered player's mental strength, which I think is that there might be some data to show that A player is definitely will beat B player for 90% of time or whatever.

hmm well, there is a statistics man in the forum. Perhaps TTGuru might be interested in such a project, you may remember he runs all the statistics on the world tour events like how many matches were played, sets, average number of sets, biggest win margin, number of upset victories, number of 11-0 sets etc. You can find some of his threads around the forum. I'll try and find a link later.
