What a lot of people liked about the original Golden Tango (not the PS), was how sticky it was, and how it retained the stickiness over time. You normally only see this on Chinese topsheet, and even those are getting more rare.
A shame it's discontinued, it was popular here as well, but obviously not popular enough.

GT (and the other ‘identical’ rubbers by other brands), was a great rubber, especially for the long lasting tackiness. Shame it was discontinued. Mind you, I don’t think I would be using it today!!
If the manufacturing process to get this level of tackiness involves larger quantities of materials which then impacts how much you have to sell, thats a bit of a bummer!! New manufacturing process required ( which may not be possible ).
what I do know is that I like a bit more lasting tackiness, and a higher level of tackiness than many of the ‘hybrids’ around today.

You prefer Jekyll and Hyde to EFC 54 even though EFC 54 is more similar to your original rubber?
I had to switch away from K2 after rotator cuff injury. Decided not to risk it again, hence the experiments over the course of the last year with something easier to play with like K3 pro/C55/Dignics 09c. Playing with C52.5 now, feels very balanced.
