OOTL: Can someone educate me on why many players say "Allez" to cheer themselves on?

I thought it was weird Ovtcharov was saying it since he's German but after hearing players like Kumar and Omotayo today say Allez as well I am confused if it just something players say like Cho

That's quite common. I've heard players of all nationalities say allez, cho, saa, come on, let's go, vamo to cheer themselves on. You don't need to be a native speaker to use any of them.

When Iga Swiatek won her first Roland Garros, I noticed she was shouting something very similar to what Timo Boll shouts after a point. Turned out it was "jazda" which is basically Polish for "come on". Now I'm curious what the hell does Timo scream, surely not Polish.
