I only have images from the magazine. If anyone would be kind enough to help us translate the summary of this, well, thank you! :)

Haha, Wang Hao with shakehand grip on the cover. That's a bit of a fail, although the cover looks good :)

Haha good spot WiWa. You would think Wang Hao would hold his bat pen-hold grip haha. I wonder if Wang would still be amazing if he played shakehand :p... Awesome photos ToT love your work!

I hope someone can translate these images for us soon :)

That video is my favorite. It has all of my fave veteran players in it. Wang Hao's RPB is so sick. He really mastered it and I don't really think anyone will understand how to use it like he does because he has so much variation compared to the newer generation.

Yeah, I remembered Syakirin (M'sia #1) telling me that he blinked just before Wang Hao hit his RPB BH, and before he knew it, the ball had already passed him!

The funny thing is that after a rally he often immediately holds his bat in shakehand grip too when walking away to pick up the ball.

Yeah Wang Hao's backhand is so feared! I remember William Henzell explaining how deadly it was!

Haha very true! A Chinese National Team Junior Member I use to train with when I was 17 did the exact same thing. He was such a mimic of Wang Hao, it was amazing!

They all train in both styles so I'm sure that he's pretty decent at Shakehand as well. As for how he's holding it, I would guess it had to do with composition. If he were holding it Cpen the paddle would be pointing downward or to the side and it just looks better pointing up. If it were me filming or taking photos I'd probably do the same regardless of how they hold the paddle.
