Indeed. To follow a match you need to have basic understanding of table tennis and spin. That is the reason people don't get table tennis as a sport, and they don't see how hard it is. They just think 'are those pro's?' when someone puts a return into the net because the server faked topspin. :p

True... But as long as they go all crazy (in a positive way) about table tennis, it's ok to me! :)

A real crowd is what is needed in most arenas to make it more watchable ;)

Choppers are definitely great for the game because they provide for a different style and lots of entertaining rallies . It is essential to the development of a player to practice against choppers , especially against really good ones . I believe I learnt to use my legs better to loop while playing against choppers ( we have a very good one at our club ) as well as improved my footwork a lot. He also taught me how to vary the topspin in the loop to give choppers trouble , and I ended up giving a lot of trouble to one at my last tournament. So , I am very partial towards choppers :)

I am chopper. Sometimes weak attackers try to comment my game with words like: "You are not good player, but grass is playing". They are stupid. Play chopper game is very hard and its very interesting. You are playing more types of strokes than attackers and you are moving more!

I don't really know why some people just loathe playing against choppers. I wish there could be more players and coaches especially specializing in defensive game. It's a beautiful game they have going, and it's really fun playing against them. The variety of balls such as heavy underspins, floaters and no spins, are some of the shots only choppers can do, and I find them fascinating.

You'll like CHOPPERS! Especially if ur coach and friends are one. They are really good at ball placing (in my case).....
They help me with my forehand loop and short ball drop shots, which can be also used in service receiving... :)))
