Yesterday I had a quick session with Robert Gardos (n. 24 in the world), and his setup is fairly normal : TB ALC + Dignics 05 (BH) and Dignics 09C (FH)
Matilda Ekholm, former Sweden n.1 and 20th in the world, used to coach me, and she uses T05 on both sides.
Timo & Co Dignics 09C etc.
As far as I know, none of them boost anything.

Only when it comes to Chinese players, information gets cryptical.

Is it unique for Ma Long to use Hurricane 3 National on both sides?

Most only use it on Forehand. Ma Long uses it on his Backhand as well. Is this common or rare?

It’s more common now for a lot of players. The game is more powerful now so the H3 has more spin while still retaining the speed of most european/bty rubbers so long as you hit hard enough, if you don’t, then BtY still the way to go
