As I see, the ranking in all the countries up to mine is a point system?
Well, in Luxembourg they are trying to introduce it but well it doesn't go well ^^
Here's how our ranking is at the moment:
We have categories, it goes like this:
D3 (beginner) - D2 - D1 - C3 - C2 - C1 - B3 - B2 - B1 - A3 - A2 - A1 (one of the best)
You start as D3 if you're a complete beginner. To become D2, you have to make 12 positive points, you can't make negative points in the D-category.
Example: D3(A) wins against D3(B), A gets +0.5, if he had won against a D2, it would have been +1, against a D1, +1.5 and so on.
If you get 12, you're D2. Again, you need +12 to get D1 and +12 to get C3.
So far so good. Now as you're C3, now you can also make minus points. The winning goes the same.
Example: If you loose against C3, you make -0.5, against D1, -1 and so on.
So, my ranking is: C1 with +2. I play a very decent level and I am able to beat B3 and I've also beaten B2 but here's the problem: In our tournaments, you don't get any points if you won against a very strong player in the first turn, you only get points if you become 1st (+1.5), 2nd (+1), 3rd and 4th (+0.5).
Second, my league is too weak, I only play against lower ranked people, excuse me but it sucks. Then the coaches are there like, "you're still C1? How can it be?" And I'm like "Are you f***ing kidding me?" -.-
If I would work in the federation, I would change some things ^^
