I like to watch the pros but I don't really consciously think about copying them. I think about learning and improving techniques. Sometimes I see myself doing something in a way that is similar to something a pro I like to watch does. But it happens sort of naturally based on what I can do in my game. Sometimes I also see things that hold me back that certain pros also have that hold them back. Like how, over the past 2 years Zhang Jike has improved his ability to turn to his forehand which was a big weakness for him for a long time and is much less evident these days. I still need to work on that.

Pros I like to watch, Waldner, Fang Bo, Zhang Jike, Ma Long, Wang Liqin, Michael Maze, Timo Boll, Wang Hao, Werner Schlager, Jorgen Persson, Zoran Primorac, Jean-Phillipe Gatien, Kong Linghui, Joo Se Hyuk, Xu Xin, Vladimir Samsonov and Ryu Seung Min.

I went to play table tennis because of samsonov. Vladi's style is so nice. After a year I noticed table tennis has more players. waldner and Wang liqin joined my inspiring list.

i like so much the wang hao's style... i try to copy, and im almost there
