I will play U2000, O40, and Open. Registered for doubles, but don't have a partner. Doubles anyone?

William got 2nd in O40 and 1st with doubles after owner dropped out after winning all matches with partner.

I see at least two wins over 1900+ players. Yep, looks like Der_Echte is officially back. What a stud.

Edit: Der_Echte, I just couldn't get out of some lame family obligations this weekend so I couldn't make it. Sorry. I think there's a RR event in late September that I'm going to try and do.

Michael, the owner of Smash TTC, said he was considering another tourney in Sep, he asked me when a good date would be, I told him ANY TIME is a good time for a TT Smackdown.

Only problem is, Michael is in every event I qualify for, his true playing level is around 2300 and that is simply too much difference in playing level for me to make a dent in him. I can only realistically fight for second place when he is around.

My Open RR group had both michael AND Raghu N, both 2300ish level players, so no chance to advance. Even if I did advance in Open, I would be REAL fortunate just to make semis. At least I got to umpire the Open Finals.

Der_Echte, we've got ways of taking care of these 2300s. I've got you covered. When you are playing Michael and Raghu, I will do the shoelace trick on them and you're sure to take care of them.

I would have to do the Tanya Harding Special to BOTH their knees just to be even vs either of them.

An easier and more humane way to go about it would be to spike their drinking water around 50 ppm chlorine and let it take effect.

Well, I was thinking the trap door, the septic tank, and a few hours of stinky unpleasantness. Just enough time for each to default so you can win the title. Then we clean them off and buy them chicken and beer with the money they should have won.

Or hang a "Free Chicken and Beer" sign over the trap door, but be nice and leave 'em a box of KFC and a 6pk of IPA at the bottom of the chute to share.
