Well my apologies but you aren't talking about it and you are downplaying the impact and describing the game in germs that do not acknowledge the issues.

I’m not part of the on-going argument of illegal serves, nor was my post attempting to address or downplay the service conundrum.
I was, however raising the point that based on the observations off ITTF videos, and factoring in the variations in elevation, angle of depression, distance to target, a definitive assessment cannot be made to support solid arguments, however heated they may be.
Regarding umpire actions/inactions, my observation last night, in one match, was that Ito got warned for body block, Liu Jie was warned for tossing, and penalized at the second infraction. There were others too, so it isn’t the umpire letting bad deeds get away, but rather the inconsistency of enforcement between umpires that constitute part of the issue.
I hope this clears up my post intentions. Do forgive the vebocity.

Well, it's always possible albeit slim considering that China has decided to send its top 3 players against USA. Amy/Lily vs CM/SYS, Wu Yue vs LSW, Lily vs SYS, Wu Yue vs CM and Amy vs LSW.

Lots of 3-0 wins in this format for teams, no games going the distance. I thought it wouldn't be quite as one sided. Is that because the doubles is first?
