The day that both FZD fans and WCQ haters on Tieba rejoice.

LYJ 4-2 WCQ (7, -11, -6, 7, 7, 2)
G6 90, 91, 101, 102, 112
WCQ is lucky WCT took out LYJ at Asian Games 2022.

What just happened?
6-6 in 3rd Set.
Lin Hits an edge, as it is clearly seen by the camera and also WCQ.
Lin and umpire dont See it and point to WCQ.
Wang doesnt say anything and Set goes to hım 11-6.
Unfair play by WCQ? Am I wrong? Did we miss something?
Seems like a clear point to Lin.
I thought I was taking crazy pills. Nobody in the entire arena wanted to give LYJ the point. Bizarre.

LYJ has such a complete game. And he used low, half long serves to perfection. He overplayed the BH flick early in the match as Tomo was ready for it. But once he settled down on the receives, his better all around skills took over. Whatever happens with WCQ, I'm really liking his progress.
The world is getting to see the full talent of LYJ. So happy for him.

Even the commentator said oooohhh an edge! Definitely an edge that should have gone to LYJ. Fortunately, LYJ won the match despite the missed edge.

Nah. This was clearly a case of working on something specific. His forehand penetration has been subtly better.

I think that's a bit harsh. SYB was up 10-7 in game 3 tied at 1-1. She forced SYS to step up her game. Contrast this with their 5 previous encounters where SYB never won a game.
Let's not forget the mysterious let.
What a performance by LYJ! He looks unbeatable thr past 2 matches!
His play today made Harimoto look more respectable.

Really good to see WYD get the win over SYS there after seeing the fans piling on her for losing to Hayata twice this year. She's still among the best of the Chinese women's team.
She has always been fierce in domestic encounters so I'm not too surprise, raw power-wise she might be the strongest in CNT women right now.

Ma Long is not so young anymore and 7 sets can play a cruel joke on him. The real question is whether Ma Long can dodge long rallies. If he breaks the pace and completes plays on 3, maximum 5 balls, then he will win.
This post looked funny before editing, now its just hilarious:ROFLMAO:

I think HAYATA choked, she wasn't able to think clearly and find a tactic taking advantage of her opponent's handicap. She gave away a lot of points with early "unforced" mistakes in the rally.
As Ishida says, she is not bright. Hayata has mentioned multiple times she can only make up through hard work [1, 2]. It wasn't after Tokyo 2020 that she started to change her habit of hitting heavy shots and you can see that she still over-hits too much.
