Kallberg was faulted for hiding the ball with his head. Was warned once then second one was point lost. On replay it looked like a fair call.

If necessary, you can find faulty serves from any TT athlete. I bet you could find faulty serves from Samsonov if you really search for them.

The ridiculous thing is, the ref is calling out those who serve relatively clean serves (like high toss from Hugo), while I can't remember WCQ and LSD being penalized a single time for their fully covered serves.

LSD's been called many times before. WCQ does seem to get away with it more often than most.

Hugo has had a problem with shielding the ball with his left arm all through his career. Not sure why you are so convinced he serves cleanly just because he tosses the ball high.

Not going to be easy to get that matchup. Satsuki Odo has been playing well. On Mima's side, if she gets Pavade, then it's going to be really tough getting past Pavade. Pavade is 2-0 vs. Mima (as well as 2-0 vs. Hirano).

Not going to be easy to get that matchup. Satsuki Odo has been playing well. On Mima's side, if she gets Pavade, then it's going to be really tough getting past Pavade. Pavade is 2-0 vs. Mima (as well as 2-0 vs. Hirano).

I think Mima would destroy Pavade this time. and Hirano as well. Mima seems to be coming back. Pavade has bad results lately and I doubt Hirano has fully recovered

If there is something that could add up to the WTT experience of fuzzy/grainy/low fps video, unclear ball, and horrible side angles, it surely has to be a clueless umpire.
