Sato, Shibata, and Hashimoto are T-League teammates so Shibata has had a lot of practice. Sato out is good news for Hashimoto as Sato is always difficult for Hashimoto. Hashimoto faces a wave of Chinese players. She faces Qin Yuxuan next, and then possibly Han Feier (if Han beats Shibata). The other half of the draw has a lot of Chinese players as well.

BTW, Britt Eerland takes 2 games off Yokoi - wish I could see that. Repeating for the umpteenth time I am happy she is back, we need such quality players in Europe. Wish she had won though.
