Very good rubber for forehand for any beginner, and very good for any good players for back hand , especially away from the table. Very fast rubber , counter spin is pretty awesome. Price is nice too, around 60$

It was my 1st blade , i played with it over a year , i still have it for back up. Overall its very solid blade, pretty fast and good control. Nice craftsmanship, design, texture is solid. Recommended for offensive players, that play Chinese style of looping, especially both wings looper. Its best to pair with Chinese rubber forehand, like National hurricane Orange , or National Hurricane Blue sponge . For backhand if u r close to table then i'll recommend Tenergy 05 , mid stand and away from the table i'll recommended Tenergy 64. Hope that's help :)

Its the best plastic ball that i have played with and it is the most comparable to the old celluloid ball. Everybody talks that the balls have a lack of durability but i have played tournaments and the balls have never broke during a match.

I did ordered a few boxes of 3 each , of all the new balls i got from different brands . This one is the most durable and the most feel compare to the old celluloid ball. i'll recommended to anyone. Oh yeah a bit heavy the ball tends to sink pretty fast .

I maybe biased having used a zlc before. Compared to zlc the blade feels faster than it actually is. I found I had lost the control and the natural feeling I've had with the zlc. Having said that it is still better than some of its cheaper counterparts and the speed on this blade is pretty good. But its definitely worse than zlc! So my advice is if you're willing to fork out on an expensive blade, go a bit further and get the zlc :)

This is an excellent rubber to use for a beginner. One of the best feeling rubbers around. In addition to that, it is deceptively spinny when it comes to those slow spins. The only drawback is speed perhaps, if you're focusing on an offensive game. However, I believe using a off++ blade can counter that deficiency although will probably mean sacrificing on the spin. Regardless, it is much cheaper than alternatives and one of the best value rubbers I've ever used.

This is the best rubber I've used. While the performance naturally drops after a while, it is still better than any copy out there. The thing that separates this rubber from other 'competitors' is the fact that you get a real 'feel' of the spin you put on and despite the rubber being one of the fastest it is very consistent, so easy to adapt to without losing much control.

For Arirang in Blades
Pros
  • High control
  • Aramid Carbon
Cons
  • Could be quicker
The Nexy Arirang is a 7 ply blade. The blade reviewed was 83grams and has 2 layers of aramid carbon. The aramid carbon gives the blade a soft touch, slower than a TBS. I would of liked for the blade to have a bit more speed, sometimes I did not feel it had the spark needed for my shots. However one department this blade excels in is it's control. If you are after a carbon that doesn't have to much speed, this is a very good choice.

For Kanaph in Blades
Pros
  • Very well made
  • Good sweetspot
  • Fast
Cons
  • Low arc
The Nexy Kanaph is a 5 ply (2 carbon layers) blade that has stunning looks. Below is a video review I did with Tom testing out both the Nexy Kanaph and the Arirang blade. Here are some quick details about the kanaph blade:

- Direct, low Trajectory
- Excellent for close range shots such as flicks, counter topspins and punch shots
- Fast (Off + blade)
- Dual impact (crisp sound)
- Solid sweetspot

This blade I feel is quick and suited for advanced players who have developed a solid technique.

Enjoy the review below which looks at both the Nexy and the Arirang blade.

Pros
  • combination

Cons

This blade is a unique blade.

the ply build is 6, with 1 side being All+ and the other being ALL-.

it works very well with pipped rubbers, and i enjoyed using short pips especially on this blade. It feels as if it was designed for short pips.

However,do not get worried.Whether you are a Allrounder,to an offender or a defender, this blade will somehow suit you.

as a defender,lp on the bh and a thin sponged short pip on fh will do.
as an all rounder,sp on both sides will do
as an offender, max sponge sp will do.

by twiddling, you will be able to change the pace of the game easily.their is a noticeable difference between the sides.

An incredible feeling is the lightness of this blade.I am actually amazed by all the work of Dr N and how he can make such light but good blades that do not even feel head heavy with rubbers on them.

if you have the money and being an EJ,then why not?give this blade a try,it might suit you!

Pros
  • High Control
Cons
  • Slightly Slow
A rubber with great control is the major positive of this rubber, which is also why the rubber is ideal for anyone wanting to improve on their strokes. This rubber is a bit slower than most though however, so if you are playing with a fast rubber such as Tenergy then switching to this may not feel very good.

Pros
  • Quality Wood

Cons

This is a very high quality blade which you will notice as soon as you hold the blade in your hand. I think this is suited for the attacking player and perhaps a more experienced player too as the blade is quite fast. I was previously using the Ma Lin Carbon blade which is very light so I can't really comment on the weight of this blade as it does feel a bit heavy in comparison to my previous blade - but not enough to affect performance. Although the price of this blade is expensive I do believe Stiga products are of the highest quality.

Hello everybody this is my first review , that's why i choose a blade what i played for about 3-4 years. I will give you my tl dr already now : This blade is not stable/ consistent enough for what i would call a solid all/all+ blade. Of course the blade also has its advantages but they are not big enough in my opinion. In retrospect i dont know why i played with it so long ( i also owned 4 pieces of it) , i think because it makes me uncomfortable to change my gear too much. I'll try to explain to you whats going on with that blade.

The pros:
- It produces slow very spinny forehand topspins when attacking on backspin
- The forehandblock is really good to control and the blade gives it an extra catapult effect because of its elasticity
- quite easyli to do short and chop backhandblocks
- good feeling for short-game
- good feeling to control the length of the serves
- good feeling to control the rotation of the serves
- good controllable defense strokes on fore- and backhand

Disadvantages:
- heavy
- high vibrations that made me feel that it is impossible to get a routine in my strokes. Especially on sidespin receive it behaved horrible if i wanted to answer with topspin
- extremely difficult to receive a long ball with heavy backspin with chop
- BIG disadvantage: i never experienced that it is so difficult to do smashshots on high balls with forward rotation as with that blade. i could do better shots on these balls with my bare hand
- it is nearly impossible to do really hard and fast spins to end a point. in mid-air it seems that the ball is losing all its energy and if you come to higher classes they will shoot you these balls in your face ( my experience)
- now comes the no-go of this blade: absolutely 0-Feeling to : receive serves with heavy side spin, forward spin or no spin with the backhand, it was for me like i would have a hammer in my hand. IN ADDITION because the blade is really heavy the change from fore to backhand feels like you have to turn a truck and it is really hard to generate acceleration. Even if you managed to accelerate enough, i dont know how i can describe it else, i just makes BLOB. Nothing comes out of it . The spin is slow and has not enough rotation or power to get any benefit from it. The offensive of the backhand is dead on this blade.
- Last but not least: There is a reason why i had 4 pieces of this blade. My first blade lost again and again the gripshell (?? i dont know what is the right word for it, i hope you understand) . Because of that i bought a second one and it was like a total different balde. Not just a bit different like it is usual because it is a wooden product. It was a lot heavier, it was totally off balance, its centroid was far too much on the head of the blade. It was unplayable for me so i repaired over and over again my old one. After some time i got 2 more blades of this type as a gift from people who didnt like it. The third one was similar to my actual racket and i could use it. The fourth one was again completely different. I dont know if it is this EPOX technology that is producing this variation in results. I got 4 blades with the same name but actually it was 3 different types of blades.

So again my conclusion is. If you are looking for a solid all / all+ blade I am sure you can find better options than this blade!

I hope the review was at least a bit helpful and excuse my english. (i have no idea how to set commas ;)

I use this rubber on my backhand (red) in 1,8mm. This rubber is absolutely amazing when it comes to spin. So if you like to loop, or even chop, this rubber will do wonders. It's also very good if you like to lob away from the table. This rubber isn't very fast, so it's pretty much the perfect rubber for beginners. Note; The Akkadi Taichi is SUPER tacky. It's just as tacky as H3. (I have not tried the "black sponge" version)

Pros
  • Great control
  • Great price
Today's equipment is getting faster and faster. But the game is not just about speed.
Equally important is spin and control and this is where the Yasaka Extra comes in.

Firstly, YE (as it is known) has been around for few decades (I can't remember how long)

It is rated as an allround 5 play blade, which offers great control.
Together with offensive type of rubbers, one is able to provide great attacking shots, while controlling the ball

However with the lack of offensive speed, this blade is not suitable for far from the table player - unless you relying your power from your technique and not from your blade.

Overall, I would stat, juniors/beginners should all start off with this blade, as this can teach you how to perform your own power and not borrowing it from the blade technology and in the same time, your control and spin development can continue to improve

Pros
  • Good control
  • Good spin
Cons
  • Less spin than
  • with H3 Neo
Impressions after several practice session (H8 on FH + Nexy Calix):

a) tackiness - it is a mildly tacky rubber, the level of tackiness is nowhere near N3 Neo. Which for me translates into slightly worse short game, and not as much spin on "brushy" serves. But still, H8 is much less bouncy than pretty much any modern tensor rubber.

b) driving the ball - easier with H8 than H3 Neo because H8 is less tacky. Same considerations apply to passive blocking.

c) looping - the grip is good, quite reliable, but one needs to engage the sponge a bit more when looping using H8 in order to generate the same amount of spin as with H3 Neo. The arc is a bit lower than with H3 Neo, as noted by other reviewers. Looping against backspin requires more effort using H8 than H3 Neo.

d) speed - at medium swing shots H8 feels a touch faster than H3 Neo, but at full swing H3 Neo is faster and spinnier.

If you want to see H8 in action, here is a video of a practice session using Nexy Calix with H8 on FH and 5Q+ on BH. I'm the player in orange shirt.

I have been playing with these shoes for a while and I like them very much. It's a light shoe that is very comfortable and grippy. I have been playing with them for three month and they are very durable so far. They are pretty cheap so if you like the design I think this is one of the more price worthy shoe on the TT market that I have tried.

This rubber is so far the best suited rubber for my FH.
If you want to use it properly you have to use it on off+ or off++ blade . Do not even try it on def or all blade .(you will end with lots of balls in the net).
I really like the linear curve of speed with this rubber. If you hit softly it has a low bounce . But if you use your whole body ,then it just go fast (but not as fast as andro rasant series of rubbers ).....
This sponge of the rubber needs to get in playing condition ,so you have to play about 2-4 Hours to it get softer and more response .
The control is a little bit difficult without good technique.
The weight is medium ass all top rubbers from different brands .
Spin is just great .. especially for serves. you can hit it soft or hard there is always a great amount of spin .
I like the feel it gives me, when i`m using powerstrokes.... just perfect.
Overall i can only recommend this rubber .

when someone is saying this rubber is fast is not true .. it is somewhere in the middle .. you need a lot of power in hand. it`s slower than DHS NEO H3 and far from Andro Rasant Grip
But this soft sponge give it a lot of control near the net . Great for opening loops .
Spin is good but not as the Andro R G or DHS H3
Blocking is good and precise.
Overall this rubber is Great for short to table game ,but not to distance play (unless you have a spare arms).
The control from this rubber is incredible, you can return practically all with this rubber .But i can not recommend it to someone who is learning Table Tennis .
Robert

ps.: I have played 3 matches with this rubber (both sides 80FX, off- blade) and 3 with my Andro Rasant Grip and DHS NEO H3 (off+ blade). 3 wins for BF 80FX (with great lead ) , and 3 loses (tight) with Andro and H3. But i do not like the softness of the rubber so i will try to go for non FX version (because of lack of the speed)
