Rakza line.

So I've recently bought a Rakza X max and I haven't used it yet, but I'm not sure if I should actually go for one of the other Rakza rubbers, if someone whom has used all 3 could let me know, which of the Rakza line has been the best for you? I've played with the Rakza 7 Soft and it feels immaculate and the sound it makes is very crisp, let me know your reasoning.

I used the rakza 9 due to the speed it provided I would say the r9 is more like T64 and the r7 is more T05

just a thought I had, does anybody know why that young japanese kid sponsored by yasaka was using pryde rubbers instead of rakza?
pryde rubbers are very old and he must really dislike rakza series to use pryde.
I think harimoto is his name.

Probably depends on his style really and don't forget that Rakza range are quite quick and at his age he might not be able to produce a good stroke with the rakza as he can with the pryde rubbers

Do any of you guys have an insight to Rakza X? People that have played with it that can compare it to the other Rakza's.

I've used Rakza X and Rakza X soft. Rakza X is too fast for my liking. It's also heavy. I prefer light weight, soft rubber so Rakza 7 soft was my go to choice. Moved up to Rakza X soft and it feels quite similar to 7. Very good rubber.

What did you think about the rubbers spin? As good as Rakza 7/soft and if not better?

That's a good question. I found 7 to be quite spinny and I haven't noticed a lack of spin. Would really have to get them side by side and test them. I am also not too sure if this new X line is developed for the plastic ball which could change some spin characteristics...

It is developed for the plastic ball, but I've heard so many places of mixed reviews, others saying it's good and their "favourite rubber to date" and other saying it's dead etc and Rakza 7/soft is better overall, + have you checked the TTDB reviews? Even though it is not accurate bad speed/spin ratings so idk man. May exchange it for a Rakza 7 Soft as I have played with it before but we'll see.

Personally, the new ESN rubbers I have tried (Evolution, Bluefire Turbo) are so heavy in max with hard sponge that I would recommend that people use 1.9-2.0mm and they will probably enjoy it more.

Will really having a tad less sponge mm really lighten the load that much?
