How does the prize money work now? What do winning teams and players get out of curiosity....

What are your motivations for supporting one team vs another? Appreciation for the coach, personality or skills? Appreciation for the top team player or players? I don't feel any particular affinity for the teams which seem 100% arbitrary to me. I love to see the games with such awesome players and the game formats are very nice , but the teams seem superfluous and fake. Thoughts? It also seems to have been a great training camp for all the players, and built a place for friendships among them to grow, which the heavily nationalist ITTF needs badly. It would be cool for T2 to set up training sessions on Youtube with paired experts from among the players. And I'm fine with their announcer to participate all the time, maybe with Adam Bobrow too.

I wish this tournament attracted more viewers, because it does deserve it. Top players, top venue, rules welcome fast paced play etc. Go team Maze!

usually one of the team is a little bit more likeable overall, personality wise.

I really love pro player training videos. One can learn so much!
Bobrow is a good idea too, because he really knows many players personally

The livestream gets not so much views but the video uploads on youtube in shortforms of the single matches are much more popular than the livestream

I am disappointed that the poll is so dismissive of the women. Either put all the names in, or just leave it at the team name. Frankly, it is the women who have brought this competition, which I have enjoyed immensely, to life. The star of the show is probably Bernadette Szocs, who improved incredibly over the course of the season, and was described by the commentator as the heart and soul of her team. And yes, I am just talking about her table tennis playing. But most of the women have been more entertaining than their male counterparts, drawing the spectators into the narrative and making the impersonal personal.

I think the camera angle really does justice translating the actual speed of the game. It's more from the top than from behind so the ball is percieved as moving faster.

Congratz to Bernadette Szocs!

She has been one of the best things about this league this year and is the best and most deserving Champion for the first year (not her fault that Ding Ning or other CNT players who played earlier didn't defend the rotated CNT spot) and I think her win and her celebration encapsulated the thrill of the league.

A few years ago many people on youtube disliked her because of her loud choes and "flawed" technique and there is also the video with lin gaoyuan (cho contest or something like that) where there is lots of mockery happening and just look at them now...they are beating world class players and enjoying themselves. I couldnt believe my eyes that she did it but she did and it brought a smile to my face cause I also thought it was almost impossible for european women to beat asian ones

Why am I saying all that ??? well its kind of ironic and funny when u see results rubbed in the faces of people with meaningless/pointless tastes and opinions.

When I was watching the match, Bernadette had a chance twice, in both matches against Lui Fei and Feng Tianwei to win much earlier, but she lost those games and ended up in the 5-point game, because she was leading in the previous game and could've won due to the time running out. And so I really thought after missing that opportunity she's gonna get nervous now and lose the match now and then probably start crying, because she's quite emotional and cried when she lost to Feng Tianwei in the team matches. But somehow she won anyway and I'm glad she won because I don't think she would've taken a defeat very easily and probably would've cried again. It's kinda nice seeing someone being so happy.

I enjoy watching these T2APAC matches. But it's funny how many dirty moves this sort of timing-based system creates. Like one player even though was leading 10-6, avoided winning the next point just so the opponent wouldn't get another kill-zone 5 point game. Many things like that.

Wow ok firstly i'm not exactly to sure where to start, but firstly i was overwhelmed by the T2 Cavern. Its essentially a studio in pinewood studios. The studio next door was recording the voice Asia which was pretty cool. We saw some of the singers singing in the evenings at the local bars :)

The fact the event was held in a studio allowed the production team to be super dynamic with how they shot the event. 13 different cameras recorded from various angles around the room!

T2 is a glamorous event that showcases table tennis in a different light by connecting with the players personalities! I had a lot of fun with the T2 team going backstage taking interviews a face offs with different players. We called it the T2 Ambush, some of the players struggled to deal with it in the beginning, but it soon became a lot of fun!

Faceoff Video

I really like the new rules that T2 bought into the format. The kill zone where its first to 5 points and each set is to 11 points with no deuce creates more intense matches which seemed to bring more excitement to fans. I think this helped create a hype for the casual viewer watching!

<iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/video.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Ft2apac%2Fvideos%2F1873120946063973%2F&show_text=0&width=560" width="560" height="315" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowTransparency="true" allowFullScreen="true"></iframe>

There were so many great moments, however my most memorable moment was when Bernadette Szocs won the Women's Singles. The atmosphere was electric and I think no one saw it coming!

All the guys from T2 were so passionate and everyone worked so hard to make the tournament run so well!

Heres to Season 2!
