Hello all,

I started playing a year ago and I have been using the following set up for 7 months (purchased second hand off eBay):

Stiga Carbonado 90
Xiom Vega Pro on forehand
Xiom Omega Elite IV on backhand

I was wondering what people's opinions were on this for a developing player who likes to be attacking, preferring to be close to the table. I feel like my technique is not great but improving, although I don't have any coaching.

The only other equipment I have access to is my original set up from AliExpress:

Yinhe W6
Hurricane H3 Neo (commercial) on both sides

I stopped using this when I got the new bat.

Thanks

Thanks for the advice. I suspected the Yinhe W6 would be better for me but I was worried about using the H3 Neo as I did read it was unplayable (too slow) without boosting and mine is quite old now.

At first I read that having identical rubbers on FH and BH was good for a beginner but afterwards I learnt that H3N was not great as BH rubber.

I don't have any experiencing with glueing rubbers but maybe I could have a go at replacing the H3N on the BH with something else? Any suggestions would be welcome.

2 sheets of the same. Vega Pro is good.

Or Aurus, Rakza, Xplode, Baracuda pretty much the same family.
