Hello everyone.
there is one kid in my club who is playing for 1 year and a half, and he is 8 years old. He plays offensive topspins with forehand, and blocking, pushing and playing flat hits with backhand. Just like everyone in those years.
His dad asked me for advice good rubbers + blade for him.
So I just don't know what would be good for him, when I was kid everything was different, and my coach always gave me equipment.
He is currently playing with Timo Boll all + blade that I have used before, it is old blade and I can't find it anywhere.
His rubbers are old tenergy 05, but I know it's not good for kids, he got them for free..

So I accept any advise, anything, any brand, thanks anyone who helps.

Great blade for a beginner. I'd suggest JOOLA Mambo or Xplode Sensitive for a beginner. It's what our juniors use typically at my local club, but then I am more inclined toward JOOLA. Sriver from butterfly or Mendo from Stiga. Basically any soft, high control rubber is what an 8 year old should be using at this point.

Hope that helps.

Why do you want to change the setup ? Can we see a video of the kid playing ? Is he getting formal coaching ?

I don't know but something happened to his blade, and his rubbers are old.. HE is getting formal coaching, from one very old coach, who doesn't know a lot about equipment.

And please more suggestions for the blade, not only rubbers.

Thanks everyone

Daniel , I am not going to suggest you which combination to buy . But I am going to tell you something else that I have said elsewhere as well. First of all the way we normal mortals pick the combination is slower ( ALL + or OFF - ) blades and softer and faster rubbers. this helps in giving a good dwell time as well as feeling. Some people do go with the other end of the combination which is faster blades and slower rubbers but that really is not favorable unless you play a particular style of short to mid distance blocking , its really difficult to consistently loop with such a combination. Now, from what I have heard there are very few blades in the market which are better than Timo Ball ALC even though butterfuly themselves have come up with more pricier options. So, I would suggest , go buy another one. I have used Waldner Ultra Senso Carbon but when I started playing regularly with tenergy it broke snapped into two from the handle, after that I have stopped suggesting that to anybody :) . But the point here is , there are very many combinations and all of them are good but it depends on who is coaching you and what kind of technique you are building. The modern game uses a very fast wristy backhand with forehand , and you need fast rubbers on the backhand to develop such a technique, you can't use Sriver to do that ( pretty much take every ball off the bounce on the backhand and hit consistent backhand drives ) . Thats why you see even the Chinese use Tenergy 64 , even when they are using Chinese rubbers on the forehand. So I would suggest get a coach who is well versed with the modern technique and ask him to play with the boy and suggest which combination to use. Its unwise and difficult to suggest a combination to a young boy being just a forum member, if he is serious about table tennis, we might end up doing more harm than good.

Dude, you have some problems with reading xD You said everything right but I am not talking about myself buying new blade, I don't think about changing my ALC.
I was just asking for that kid.. Thanks anyway

It looks like ttmonster did know you were asking for a setup for a young boy. And what he gave is pretty good advice.

I do think there are rackets with handles designed for children. I don't know what I think about that. But here are three good rackets for a young player who is developing.

Stiga Allround Evolution

Stiga Tube Allround

Butterfly Primorac Off-

Those blades are great. Rubbers that would be good:

Butterfly Sriver FX. (Butterfly Sriver not quite as good and Butterfly Sriver FX may be the best option because the rubber is nice and soft)

Yasaka Marv V

Joola Mambo.

But, what ttmonster said is a good idea. Having a coach recommend a setup based on seeing him is an excellent idea. That being said, one of those three blades with one of those three rubbers, particularly Sriver FX, would be an excellent starting blade.

We were already thinking about primorac off- because that blade he can use for about 4 years from now.. it will still be great.
I think that we will take sriver fx, because a lot of people do reccomend it. How does it go with water based glue? I have never tried.
Thanks Carl a lot

The Primorac is great. All those blades would be. Sriver is great. The reason for Sriver FX, the speed is not so much of an issue when developing. The softer sponge of the FX rubber allows the ball to sink in more easily and the topsheet to grab the ball as a result, so that it is easier for a developing player to learn to spin the ball and develop good touch. But Any of the rubbers mentioned above including Sriver EL would be good.
