Today on the 24th July the 2013 Chinese Super League round 8 took place with the best players in the world colliding. Xu Xin's Shanghai faced Zhang Jike's Shandong, with Xu Xin disposing Zhang Jike in 3 straight sets. Elsewhere saw both Dimitrij Ovtcharov and Liu Jikang defeat Wang Hao and Yin Hang eliminated Xu Chenhao to give Sichuan their second win of the season. In round 8 of the Chinese Super League Ma Long's Ningbo met Hao Shuai's Tianjin, Xu Xin's Shanghai took on Zhang Jike's Shandong, Dimitrij Ovtcharov's Shangdong played Wang Hao's Bayi and Qiu Yike's Sichuan faced Cuiqing Lei Bazhou.

This was the match of the day in my eyes. In the opening match, Fan Zhendong grabbed a cruicial victory over Dimitriij Ovtcharov to give Bayi the 1-0 lead. Through the perseverance of the Guangdong team, both Dimitrij Ovtcharov and Liu Jikang defeated world number 3 Wang Hao in five set matches to give Guangdong a 2 point advantage. Yin Hand sealed the deal for Guangdongwith an impressive win over Xu Chenhao in the fifth and final match.
