Gao Ning using Carbonado 190!

So just seen Gao Ning using the stiga Carbonado 190 against Chen Weixing. Strange thing however he was using the Zhang Jike Super ZLC against Gustavo Tsuboi in an earlier round.

It is strange for a player to change in the same tournament? Something like the worlds also!

Yes could well be! Gao Ning played very well with the Carbonado it looked. Very solid and consistent.

TurboZ always has the answers, good point. It proved good winning quite comfortably against Chen I felt. However Gao did change back to his other blade against Ma Long in the next round it looked.

Nice to see the ball spread on the rubber. I thought the pros could hit the ball in the exact same place?

I know Gao from Chartes, he has always been playing with Stiga, but was able to change the blade from one day to another.....I´ve seen him with DHS blades as well.....I think he´s got a very precise image of how his racket should play.....

I think in a practice session they would probably hit pretty evenly in the rubber, but in a match players hit errors which must be due to hitting not directly in centre, out of position etc.

yes I was also joking a little. It can be that they do it in purpose in some first attack to fake the spin, it's very common when it comes to serve especially.
