The wood is quite dark, I think Viscaria would be lighter.

WOW after so many matches watched I though I will see fist fight literally in TT history Simon vs Shibaev
poor Gauzy lost after leading, but still congrats to shibaev.

What happened between gauzy and shibaev? I didn't understand it.

?s it because of the one of the last ball which simon thought edge ball? definetly not edge.

Or is it because of something else? I only watched the last set.

I think Shibaev didn't handshake properly with Gauzy. Gauzy overreacted a bit, and they started a scene for no reason.

They almost had a fight for real because of shibaev didn'e give a hand nicely after match. He actually slapped it hard as from what I see. Later ofcouse gauzy dropped F bomb

Shame to end it like that, think Gauzy was unhappy about the previous point where he thought it hit the edge .

I think Gauzy thought the second last serve was let.. and he played on anyways. He appeared to raise his finger after missing the return.
Bad for the sport to see such world class players pushing each other after the game. Gauzy simply lost his concentration after leaving 8-2. I dont know why he took it to Alex after the match.
Wonder if there would be any fines/warning for either player.

Bad for sport? I won't say that so directly. Bad that kids can pick up this and start copying - yes, but this type of emotions also makes a buzz around people - buzz = more talk about the table tennis - more talk = more money, more viewers. Maybe thats not right but its true.
