Hirano needs more variety in her game, she has only plan A, which works against most players, but not the Chinese. But she will get it. and lets not forget DING Ning may be the GOAT. Even LIU Shiwen and the other CNT members can't really win against her when it matters, LI Xiaoxia used to , but she's retired and had been overcome for a while.

So, probably HIRANO needs 1 or 2 more years to get stronger, and then I think she will beat all the Chinese. Even DING Ning, if only because she'll get older.

This tournament can only get its sanctity back if Harimoto breaks the barrier and wins it. To get over one big news you need a bigger and better news. And I am hoping for it.
