She is trying to adopt a high-risk game to induce errors from her opponent while keeping own down, since CNT players don't make unforced errors if she plays safe. That's a double-edge sword, as we've witnessed here.

Yeah, LGL often remarked that FZD is a slow-starter. FZD usually either loses or has a very close first set. But once he wakes up, his opponent will suffer.

Li Ho Ching, Ng Wing Nam and Doo Hoi Kem were brought up by Li Huifen(Seoul 1988 WS silver medalist) who used to be a penhold shortpips fast attack player. That helps against Ito's style.

I heard an interview where he said that he stopped practising because it caused a lot of injuries and now he just want to play for fun.
