I'm sure many of you would have either seen a video on youtube made by Dan, or...

read about the latest table tennis news on the TableTennisDaily website. Because the first time I came across 'TableTennisDaily', was through watching series of world class table tennis matches. I would go on youtube, type in whoever I wanted to watch, and find some really good quality and edited videos. Then I noticed that the video was made by 'TableTennisDaily'.

So I went into the website, and found up to date news on international table tennis. But what I like most about the site is the forum - where people can discuss different topics and also chat in a chatroom, while watching ittf matches at the same time!! I enjoyed the website so much I signed up as a member straight away. Through the forum I interacted with Dan a few times - in the chatroom or in the forum. So when I found out I was going to be in London for New Years, it was a great opportunity to meet the guy behind this amazing website!

It was very interesting to talk to Dan about table tennis and promoting the sport. It is a lot of hard work and dedication to run a website and edit videos for us table tennis fans, i have so much respect for Dan!

We also had a fun idea - Dan's table tennis daily vs Sarah Her-Lee's blog! - initially we were going to play table tennis, but there was no venue during new years, so, we decided to turn to the arcades! It was best of three (racing, basketball and air hockey!!) Post about this coming soon =)

We couldn't do this stuff very easily even 20 years ago, at least not with a LOT of travel and contact building. The internet enables a lot of this in an organized way with the TT forums. Good Stuff.

Very true Der_Echte. The internet is an amazing tool, lets hope we can use it to put table tennis on the map in countries where the sport is not so dominant!

It would be awesome to have a TTD Meet up if people are together in a country and what not. I suspect a lot of us might want to head to London for the Olympics so it would be great to meet up and watch some TT at the local pub or maybe at somebody's place.

Hey Richard, great idea. Infact I am doing a TableTennisDaily gathering at London 2012 Olympics its going to be awesome! Yeah a pub or cafe would be a great place. Ill make an event nearer the time

We will meet up in the summer before the Olympics. But yes a Olympic TTD reunion is on the cards! Can't wait!

Meeting at the Olympics would be nice and I thought about going there with a friend but it's really hard to get tickets and quite expensive..

Now I am interested to find out who won. My bets are on Sarah for all three events. I don't know if I would be able to focus properly with someone so good looking as my opponent.

Yeah its very expensive and tickets are rare. Let us know when you have this University Championships. What is this University Championships can I ask?

Haha I know was an honor to meet her. Wish we could of played a table tennis match instead would of been quality! I met Sarah and her boyfriend with TTD member RIPPER. Was good fun we just spoke about the state of table tennis and how our sites are doing

We had a lot in common so was cool. I think if any of us TTD members meet up we will have loads in common and lots to talk about
