Have you tried it? Impressions?

Yeah, been playing 2 weeks actually. C53 nothing special as advertised, you can go for R53 instead. But for sponge hardness side is good and suited for HAL. 2.0 mm R45 is tenegy 05fx alike. Has good grip and a little bouncy . Suited for BH well.

That's a great looking setup. Let us know how that blade plays. Always nice to see a new Chinese 7 ply I haven't seen before.
I can confirm, that this blade (Sword Dazzle Wood) has an unique feeling. It feels soft and has a lot of dwell due to the Limba top ply, but I can certainly feel it getting more stiff as I add power into my shots.
For the forehand, Omega V Asia seems like a great choice - as I hit my FH loops with more force, I feel like I am risking shots, still I can land my balls (the more I risk, the more I get surprised, that it is still on the table - the Asia topsheet helps a lot). My arcs are fast, spinny and low when I want it, but I can make snake-like shots as well.
The DMS Firestorm Green Edition seems more like a tough choice, as I can feel a speed boost not only from the sponge, but the relatively thick Spruce second ply of the blade as well, so I need to read my opponent's ball a lot, and I can still miss, but I think it worths doing more practice with it. Sword has issues with making plies with the desired thickness without noticeable deviances, but generally I can say, that I like this blade (the handle is also very bulky, and my setup does not really feels head heavy).

My previous Boer blade is such a success that I decided to try out this here monstrosity. I mean, for NZ$3.21 surely you can't go wrong 🤣

I am a little worried about the engineered wood, I hope they won't reject it at the Paris Olympics. 😂😂😂

Not EJ'ing. But since DHS changed its top sheet for H3 and H3 neo, I have been stocking up on TG3 neo and TG2 neo. Red or Black, I don't care. 2.15mm sponge or 2.2mm sponge, I don't care. I have counted 43 sheets in the stack and more might be on the way. I am not going to wait until DHS messes with TG3 neo and TG2 neo top sheet. I think it is just a matter of time when DHS messes with those top sheets.

Maybe in 2-3 years I will flip these sheets for triple the prices...lol :) :)

Holy macaroni, but remember rubber aged so 3 years is pushing it, but vacuum sealed may last longer. I wouldn’t like to save them that long.

Cheers

Got it. thank you for the reminder. Yes they are vacuum sealed so I think they will be good for a while. Plus I have like 30 blades so they will eventually find a home somewhere. And if not, I am semi kidding about selling them for three times the amount but I can always unload them at my club or here on TTD forum. And since they are $18 to $22 a piece, I am not exactly breaking the bank....unless I take out the calculator and type in $20 x 43 sheets..... :) :)
