What's your favourite match?

As the title asks, what's your favourite match?
I'm looking for more matches to watch so looking for advice or tips on your favourite matches and performances.
Personally I love Dima and Ma Longs 3-4 Olympics epic (and will watch it again soon!) and this year the 4-3 Ma Long V Lin Gaoyuan World Cup Final, the turnaround in that match was fascinating.
Anyway, hoping to get a few recommendations of matches I haven't seen yet. Cheers!

A few of my favorites (heavily biased towards penholders ):

- Definitely both of the matches you mentioned. Ma Long vs Dima is an all-time favorite!

- Dang Qiu vs Kao Cheng-Jui, Macao 2024. This might actually be the most exciting match I've ever seen. Incredible athleticism, reflexes, and strategy on both sides

- Fan Zhendong vs Tomokazu Harimoto, Paris 2024

- Simon Gauzy vs Felix Lebrun, Frankfurt 2023

- Xu Xin vs Wang Hao, 2012 Grand Finals

- Ma Lin vs Xu Xin, 2010 Kuwait Open

- Hugo Calderano vs Quadri Aruna, Doha 2023

- Ma Long vs Xu Xin, Korea Open 2016

i also like uda vs harimoto in 2020, (perhaps a little bias here as i'm a big fan of uda)

I love to watches mathces when an attacker plays a defender, which often has amazing ralleys. Any matches with Joo Se Hyuk are my favourites.

Some of these matches are already mentioned, but:

1) Hina Hayata saves *nine* match points in an epic 4-3,21-19 match vs. WYD to secure a bronze medal at the 2023 World Table Tennis Championship
2) Miu Hirano's miraculous run at the 2017 Asian Table Tennis Championship capped off with a win over Chen Meng.
3) Ryu Seung Min pulls off a stunning upset over Wang Hao to win gold at the 2004 Athens Olympics.

You have great taste. Ma Long ‐ Zhang Jike Austrian Open 2011 is still my favorite match ever and for the versatility of offensive and counteroffensive shots on display, I still can't find a higher level 40mm post speed glue match. Maybe a couple of thr Ma Long FZD matches where FZD didn't just choke outright might come close. Hoping that Lin Shidong and maybe Felix or Harimoto can give us something equally special at some point. Nah, TT is has gone in a different direction...

3) Ryu Seung Min pulls off a stunning upset over Wang Hao to win gold at the 2004 Athens Olympics.

As you mentioned this match it reminded me of this match, another upset after JOW has dismantled Ma Lin and Timo Boll both 4-1 in the qtrs and semis.

i loved Koki NIWA v Dimitri OVTCHAROV at WTTC Dusseldorf. Koki's best ever match ?

Bernadette SZOCS v NI Xia Lian in Euro Champs was an extraordinary match

HARIMOTO v WCQ and FZD in WTTC Team 2022
JAPAN v CHINA WF WTTC Team 2024
Japan got so close to China

MIZUTANI / ITO v XX/LSW Tokyo mixed doubles final (and their QF v Germany...) was epic
MIZUTANI v XX in Rio Olympic team was incredible as well

How come MIZUTANI only win against top Chinese were against XX in Olympics ?? Outrageous !
