Lebrun throw his racket and may get disqualified for tomorrow’s doubles final!

Cheers

Yes, this embarassing scenario is very likely to occur overnight. The final decision belongs with the Disciplinary Panel of 5 senior officials.

According to a comment on reddit Felix broke a LED screen at the end of the matchView attachment 32631
No surprise that they're letting him play, absolutely no chance they would disqualify him from the tournament and ruin their own final. All puff and no smoke 😉
Should be a great match, I reckon Sweden will take it tomorrow

Must be the service training with Craig!
Hahahaha yep, i watched the video and it was obvious he learnt some tricks there. Also with receive, he was receiving Felix's serves really well at the end which is really not easy to do because Felix has a lot of very tricky serve variations.

Somehow he started turning things around when he served with no sidespin (ie pure heavy under / no spin). That serve doesnt seem like much, but Felix had no chance of opening to topspin on it or creating some disgusting sidespin push to force a weaker opening to then enter the rally to dominate the rally. The funny thing was that Duda was actually better in the cat and mouse game of short push + 1st heavy FH attack, and much worse in the topspin rally game. So really in this match, Felix was more like a shakehand player and Duda assumed the penholder role.

Also Felix choked hard, he was leading so much at so many points in multiple games and became emotional and pissed away points easily after some lucky points by Duda and didnt adjust to Duda's variations.

Old news this but I just watched Szocs V Kaufmann R32, expecting a close match.
Szocs was absolutely brilliant, best I've seen her play in ages, almost everything she hit landed. 44-22 on points. 😳
That comes with the caveat of course that Kaufmann delivered neither the speed or the spin to cause enough problems but it was still a stark reminder of what Szocs can do on her day.

Szocs has never beaten Polcanova in senior events. Never got more than 2 games. Unless something goes pear-shaped on Polcanova's end, I have a hard time seeing Szocs win.

Nevertheless it's 1 vs 2 on current rankings and Szocs is playing V well.
I actually reckon Szocs to win 😂
