I have got new rubbers Omega VII Pro (FH) and Butterfly Rozena (BH) and wish to take good care of it. I replaced my last rubbers within 6 months and wish to know methods of extending the life of rubbers.

Currently, I use Yinhe sponge dipped in drinking RO water to clean rubbers after each session and use Nittaku protection sheet to cover it up. After 1 month of use, I am noticing Protection sheet's loss of stickiness. Do I clean the protection sheet with water or buy new ones after an additional month? How often do you change protection sheets?

Sticky protection sheets can be cleaned easily with a little water and a finger. Leave to dry, although some people will just get most of the water off, and re-stick. They will retain the stickiness for a surprisingly long time doing this.
How often do you clean the sheets? Every 2/3 weeks? And when do you get new sheets?

Loss of stickiness happens to all sticky rubbers. I clean my rubbers with a standard TT cleaning agent. Spray once on each side. Use a sponge to wipe of dirt. Let dry ~1min. Put on covers (always the non sticky ones)...
Have not noticed any adverse effect.

No need to change protection. Get aftermarket films, not the flimsy ones that come on the rubber by the factory, but also not the rock hard plastic ones. After every practice a drop of water should be enough to get the dust off, and now and then clean the film too. Only for tacky rubbers, normal rubbers make no difference.

I do the same, but use warm soapy water... the dirt rubs off easily and once it's dried the protection sheet is sticky again. Getting it to stick well helps extend the life of the surface.

i got several film rolls, different types. some rubbers need a film which has got an adhesive (even though they came with a totally non-adhesive film ootb), some rubbers need a non-sticky film which is absolutely non-sticky. for the past year ive been playing Mercury2 and the rubber has been quite sticky/tacky every since. so sticky that all commercial protection films adhere way too strong to the rubber. so i've been looking for other films which doht stick too hard to the rubber, and ofc these are all non-sticky, hence easy to clean (but i never clean them because they doht get dirty).

good luck

i don't pill off the film (leave it on), so it isn't sticky
I just put the smooth side against my topsheet, and put it in the bat cover.
I've been doing that for decades, and will only change when that film is bent or damaged.

I see most players around me doing the same.

What if your rubbers don't come with protective film?
