Are these both sticky? How do they play?
not as sticky as 8-80 pro, but after about 20h of training drills, multiball and match play the Speed 08 can still briefly lift the ball from the table. it only comes in 37° degree but feels a bit harder, speed is similar to F1, a bit bouncier i'd say. the chonglang lanfeng i have only played briefly yet, a bit more tackier than the quanshibao. it felt familiar, but can't really say more at this point.

I added them on the bottom of my list for potential options. Actually I quite like F1 and Pinyi for my backhand so maybe the Quanshibao S08 would be something I should look at.

Right now I have ordered the new Battle 3 purple. To this day I remember a well boosted and broken in B3 to be the best rubber I ever used. But difficult to boost well and takes time and effort to break in. If 729 solved both problems decently then this rubber should be dreamy.

Sanwei target national, blue sponge, blue-yellow package, 1.8mm, FH on spinlord carbon ultra def:

Weight cut 165x157 - 49g;
Hardness - 49deg;
Very sticky - hold the ball for 10s;
Playing characteristics — similar to 2 layers boosted H3N orange sponge 38 deg, but worse. Better than green LAC.

Main advantages — sticky, 1.8mm sponge, light and relatively hard, no need of booster, look like will not oxidize easily (but H3 will), price.

Main disadvantages — oily surface that is away from H3 spin, especialy worse drive consistency, significant reverse dome, questionable quality — several small holes in the sponge, one small dent in the surface.

Will I buy it again - no. Prefer to boost and pay extra for prov H3N OS.

I think blue and yellow package is version 2 from before 2024.

Battle 3 Tiger 4 (Discovery)... Not really sure about the name of it.
Package looks like this:
139923.jpg

First I tried it on my Ice Cream AZX Pro blade and it felt a bit dull if I need to be honest. I didn't feel the internal energy etc etc it has written over it, felt like a H3 orange out of the pack without any boosting. Maybe a bit faster and spinnier. That being said I made some crazy good shots with it and my opponents were extremely confused and so was I because I didn't have much feeling, I just let it rip very hard and the ball landed on the table. I saw that these balls were super spinny and maybe had an uncomfy pace and trajectory.
Then recently I got myself very niche blade from TW which is made only from Taiwan grown wood and ALC and it has a very hard top veneer. I'm kind of sure it's similar to a hard rosewood top ply. Anyway on this blade this rubber really came alive. It became quite fast and just as spinny as before but it started to do the click sound, like speed glued rubbers. Granted not that profoundly but still I could hear it.
It's a very good rubber if someone can buy it I really recommend it on a fast hard top ply blade. On a koto blade maybe not that much, on a limba probably I would not even try.
Anyway my first impression with AZX was so-so, with the TW blade it's extremely impressive.
Weight is a bit high, 50-52g depends on your cut. It's nothing horrible but not on the light side either.
On the right blade I would say it's probably better than the Cuifeng, because Battle 3 topsheet is just above every other sticky topsheet at the moment.

Next is Battle 3 purple sponge.
34518-e9c62ffafdb17cad39df6bed22f0e3db.jpg

Well this is a brand new thing since it was just released in China and it's a small pored cake sponge with the B3 topsheet. I was very much looking forward to it since it's advertised as internal energy blabla so no boosting needed. I like that very much thank you, finally 729 is reading the needs of the market.
The topsheet is the same for all Battle 3 and I cannot stress enough that the B3 topsheet is the best sticky topsheet I have ever seen. H3, D09c topsheet is not as good or K3 or whatever in my view.
This rubber uncut is 65g with the foil on it, so around 62-3g which is quite light. Cut to the TW blade it's 48g which is very good for a 40degree Chinese tacky rubber.
It's quite bouncy like maybe 10% less bouncy than a normal Glayzer (that I air boosted 3 days ago) so it's fast. The spin and other characteristics will be about as B3 in general. This version has 38deg in red so that might just be a BH rubber contender and I will get back with the FH findings of the 40d I have.
I hope this will be even better for FH than the Tiger 4 but if not I'm not crying much because the Tiger 4 version is really fantastic with my blade. And if this is suitable for BH then so be it. But I doubt this won't be good on FH.

These
1. Yinhe Jupiter 3(10usd): 40-41º, much tackier than H3, but the feel of the ball is slightly worse, super cheap and don't need boosting and can't be.
2. Pinyi Blue CueiFeng 3rd Gen(20usd): Hard, also tackier than H3, with great feel of the ball(if not better than H3), can't be boosted.

The Battle 3 purple I think is very suitable for BH. I will get a red sheet in 38deg. The 40 is also suitable for BH and also for FH but I feel like it has a really clean arc.
The Tiger 4 version is more quirky, maybe faster too? I mean not as just plain base bounce but once you start to hit harder. The Tiger 4 might be more suitable for FH (and for me), on BH probably I'd skip it. It's very Chinese like while the purple is very much a hybrid. A very good hybrid at that.
The purple is much better than H8-80 and lighter too and the B3 consistency is so far stellar for me in weight, unlike the H8-80 which can be from 49g to 58g cut and on a BH side that is not cool. Also B3 purple is faster than H8-80.

The purple sponge is very good so if someone wants a good Chinese hybrid (or a very good hybrid) then I can recommend it wholehartedly.

But I will do a little test before I think, I will put the two versions on the same blade so I have a good comparison.

Yu Heyi as in Yu Heyi who won against Liang Jingkun?
Didn't expect that any of these players use something different than H3BS on their FHs.

Do they need to be aired like the normal B3s which stink for days/weeks if not?
Do they feel like 38 DHS or more like 39 DHS like my red B3s that I used this season?
Which booster works? Seamoon 2 works on the normal B3 but takes quite long with not much effect. Maybe the purple FLM booster ;) https://aliexpress.com/item/1005009130195378.html
Another minor issue I had with my B3s was gluing: first round (boosted and unboosted) usually resulted in a weak glue job i.e. rubber could be easily removed with the glue sticking completely to the blade (Revolution 3 at least). Second round usually work (glue stuck to the sponge).
Otherwise, for me the B3's topsheet is also definitely one of the best out there. Grip even when looking like ... and needs less adaptation than e.g. H3 when playing in cold/hot and/or high humidity venues.

this is what i am looking for, a rubber similar to H3 for my BH that does not turn into an "anti-rubber" when temperatures and humidity go high. I will get one but if it does not work dann komme ich rueber und kick dich am arsch 😂 😂 😂

Had a look at 729's store on Taobao and I didn't find 38 degrees listed. It checks out with boartennis's report. Was interested in putting it on BH...

"less adaption" not "zero adaption". It's still a Chinese rubber after all and B3 prefers a thicker contact/more hitting through than H3 to get the best out of it ;) You could also try different balls 1)

1) https://www.researchgate.net/public...Effect_of_Humidity_on_Racket_Rubber_Tribology only Butterfly balls and rubbers but at least some data that shows that some balls are better than others in high humidity environments

Actually I think Yu Heyi used H3BS on his FH and not B3. It's disappointing for sure. So you are not wrong at all with your assumption.
B3 Tiger 4 and Purple don't stink that much, so they are OK. I wouldn't say they smell nice either but they clap H3 and many Chinese rubbers by smell.
I think the purple is comparable to D09c or H8-80, but I would take the B3 purple because of weight, speed, and topsheet quality. The sponge this time is really great too.
I don't use any booster with these so I can't say. I can say the purple sponge has a quite serious negative curl from the pack, so the gluejob is a bit iffy, but it's manageable for experienced gluers. Tiger 4 has no issue like this.
I think the Tiger 4 has a similar issue like I said before, it has some sponge coat that makes the glue not stick first. So one either uses a booster or glues it virgin then rips off the glue and reglues again for proper contact.
B3 topsheet is the best sticky topsheet I have ever met. And now there are many options to choose from.
I think B3 Tiger 4 for FH and purple for BH are probably pretty sweet choices.

I hope the pricing will get down but even if 729 charged 80EUR I think the would worth it, at 40EUR they are a steal.

REAL GOODIES.

Having a true range of rubbers in order of their Rebound Speed is always of utmost interest. Solely a hardness value will tell you nothing about rebound potency of a rubber.
Regretfully, manufacturers none care to provide their rubber products with the Rebound Index. ONCE you know the actual RI, you stop favour the major brands and you change to a real goodies.

Can you compare B3 purple with H3N in short game? I am wondering how much of the bounce is present in light hits, also, is it high throw rubber like D09C? I ordered the purple rubber 40 deg red and will share my observations when it arrives.

No love for the Rxton 3 Pink and Blue? Both of these are brilliant rubbers for the price imo. Both are more sticky than tacky, but both have genuine pop to their sponge, without boosting . (The R3P is still one of the most chronically underrated rubbers out there IMO -- it's a genuine low throw beast of a rubber that my FH just adores.)

My sheet of Ghenghaida Flood (40 deg. purple sponge, commercial) will be here this week. Would have been here sooner, but everyone in Japan was on holiday for the new year. I was hoping to get the blue sponge, but it turns out that was out of stock. I found an unpackaging video on douyin which you can see here:

https://v.douyin.com/FE9W0LTpz2g

I don't speak Mandarin, so I can't offer anything other than that the weight is 71g uncut, and the user mentions in the comments that it is stickier than current Hurricanes. A separate user mentions it's similar to Dianchi. This also comes in basically every hardness (37-42), with different sponges (blue, purple, black, red, orange). There is also a higher quality version, as well as a "flagship" version, but these cost a lot more.
