I got a facebook feed about huge problems connected to Waldner cup - monetary promises to players have not been fulfilled and now the players complain to ITTF. Why turn to ITTF? If it is even true? Are crooks and frauds really involved?

I was wondering why the players would go to ITTF to sort it out but from Zeio explanation the ITTF added it in the 2024 calendar and it was an ITTF sanctioned event so it followed the regulations of it.
