So what you're saying @Wakkibatty is I should build a sauna hut so I can store my TT gear there? nice and thick timber but constructed with a lot of surface are exposed in order to work quickly.

So far no success with turpentine+pine resin combo. I've tried it for a short period for direct infusion. Now trying it out for a longer period.

What are you actually saying in this thread? Is it possible to make my Yinhe Uranus Pro grippier? Storing it together with an open can of voc glue?

I would call the turpentine experiment a fail. After cleaning the residue with soap there was still a very thin coat of resin which made it shinier and tackier, but after cleaning it with isopropyl alcohol (99%) it came off and it was back to the original.

Just use a few drops of lamp oil on a small soft cloth and go over the rubber surface -> tackiness restored. The more natural rubber (=latex) the rubber has the better this trick works, on rubbers with very little latex it doesn't work well.
Repeat this about once a month.
