  2. Donic Xtreme blade - Anyone tried it yet?

Ha , I got a S-CZ and an Appelgren WC 89 also, both great blades. For sure soulspin makes great blades. These days I look for Hinoki or spruce top… Cheers L-zr
  3. Donic Xtreme blade - Anyone tried it yet?

Their loss… My favorite is the WC89 series (made by soulspin Germany) and J-O gold edition (made in Korea). All excellent. Soulspin makes blades with Italian spruce as a top layer. The result is a softish surface with less catapult than Hinoki. Excellent for topspin play… Cheers L-zr
  4. Donic Xtreme blade - Anyone tried it yet?

WHAT… Donic blades are great. I think it’s about the name. At a first glance I come to think about a rocket… Cheers L-zr

  7. Defensive Blade/Rubber Advice Needed...

My training partner plays a defensive style with attacking sometimes. He uses Yasaka Sweden defensive with Mark V 1.5. on both sides. It’s waaay too slow for me but he loves it… Cheers L-zr
  8. Is this setup any good??

I can assure You they feel great, but they MUST be one ply... Cheers L-zr
  9. Is this setup any good??

I am not really playing this style so I can't recommend anything for You. But as I said I suspect the feeling diminish with decreasing thickness. Cheers L-zr
  10. Is this setup any good??

I have a Nittaku Excellent-P jpen which I am using for some summer fun (I play shakehand). I stripped the cork on the backside and put on long pips. (Rakza 7 on FH) It is 9mm and super fast, but I still wouldn't want anything thinner... I suspect the "great feeling" diminishes when the...
  11. Is this setup any good??

What are You playing now? I think that blade is thin for a one ply JP. The one ply blades are all about speed and less about spin so You would want at least 9mm I think. Cheers L-zr
  12. Hurricane 3 neo

If You are still working on consistency, You should go down in speed. Donic Original True Carbon Innerforce is too fast. And the part about that Hurricane is more difficult and You need to have a perfect physical condition... bla bla bla. Its a hunk of horse sh-t. The simple fact is that since...
  13. Rubber advice for Nittaku Acoustic

Rakza 7, but its a "do it all" rubber with catapult and not super spinny, but more so than Rozena imo. Cheers L-zr
  14. Primorac Carbon or similar with rakza 7/X soft rubbers

Primo carbon has an hinoki outer layer so it is definitely not hard, but it may be a bit stiff. Cheers L-zr
  15. Rubber advice for Nittaku Acoustic

Vega Europe is really really soft and not that spinny, but then again I don't have high regards for Rozena either. Vega Europe is more like a beginners rubber. Cheers L-zr
  16. Rubber advice for Nittaku Acoustic

A little bit, but not much, but way better spin. I think its a perfect FH rubber. Cheers L-zr
  17. Rubber advice for Nittaku Acoustic

You have exactly the same idea about Tenergy as I do. Unfortunately you always need to compromise. I did it with the catapult. Less catapult = better slow game. I suggest Tibhar hybrid MK, the regular one. I has the best spin capabilities (imo) of all ESN rubbers. It has very little catapult...
  18. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

The table in the video looks kind of cheesy. What table are you using? Cheers L-zr
  19. just cut of some rubber experiment

I turned the rubber upside down on my J-pen to get more playing area… The logo is completely gone… Cheers L-zr
  20. Miwa Harimoto ALC?
