I would say try a Nostalgic over an Akkad.

I am not attacking you. You were the one that wrote her stroke was a weak stroke and typical of a woman or something like that. And I am wondering whether many forum members here (men or women) play as athletically or hit the ball as powerfully as she does, hence the disconnect.

Yeah and my forehand is not optimal for table tennis. The whole idea that a forehand is not optimal for this nor that is largely a bunch of nonsense, with all due respect. Moat people just prefer for their strokes to feel a certain way but most decent players can hit good forehands with...

I just wonder why someone who isn't close to the level of the reviewer in technical proficiency feels like she lacks the technique to review equipment that he probably.cant use at anything close to the same level.

So if Timo Boll or Samsonov used a rubber like this, would you say the same thing? I don't know her playing level but I suspect that she is a pretty good player and I think that you are possibly being sexist in the worst possible way.

Curious, bobpuls - what do you think her playing level is and how do you think you would do if you played her?

The technique is arm oriented and requires time. It would be interesting to see what happens if you play someone who pins you on the backhand with fast topspins in an exchange.

My point is that it would probably be better for Jeff to make the serve longer for his training if he can because while the distance seems to make it difficult, the shortness actually makes the short touch easier if the serve has backspin. As for the technique, maybe if we have video on top...

The one thing I will say is that the shorter the serve, the easier it is to touch short...

Baal and other experts, What do you think of this defense of the drug that cannot be named? https://www.newsweek.com/key-defeating-covid-19-already-exists-we-need-start-using-it-opinion-1519535

It is not so much about how quickly you get in in my view but how quickly you get out and if you are saying that if he was closer he would get in quicker that is possible. But I can't argue he is too far if he is getting in with one step for an extremely short ball. Your latter point I 100%...

I don't see how he is too far from the table if he can get to the ball with one step. The serve is probably a bit too short but it all depends on what he is practicing so that is neither here nor there.

It is not about stroke size, it is about coming over the top of the ball. I agree with a lot of what you have written about D09C but I don't agree it suits a particular technique or playing level for any reason other than price. I don't think any player at any level will have a problem with...

It is pretty clear to me.that you are the one who is being rude and missing the point. Whether Archyan is wrong or right, he has actually touched the rubbers. When rubbers stick to even trivial things like fingers, that is usually a sign of extreme tackiness. My Dignics 09c wouldn't stick to...

In my opinion, new Dignics 09c is good but I prefer it after a week to a month with no covering of the topsheet. The tack still helps with control but is less overt and it becomes great for both forehand and backhand.

Has anyone seen a point quite like this before? https://youtu.be/zBcIkU8QBes?t=263

Tackiness comes in degrees. Also some people do not preserve tack and after playing with D09C, if I use Hurricane again, I would let the tackiness reduce because I can see there is value in light tack. I doubt that national.H3 has zero tack, it is probably more like 09c.

If Houston is a bubble event, that will just take all the fun out of it.

The other part that goes unmentioned is that he blocked all her dangerous loops for a while and then he wins on an edge. Maybe he usually doesn't get to do that. Does he now not celebrate just because the last shot was a net/edge? TT etiquette is tough like that.

Maybe the US will get lucky and have defacto herd immunity and will be able to hold the event without restricting any country from coming? On a more serious note, the whole coronavirus thing is vexing. This was a big event on the calendar of many TT enthusiasts and getting to see my idols live...
