  1. Zyre 03 2.5 mm Vs 2.7

AI has no idea what it's talking about. Zyre most certainly does not feel like it has "exceptional dwell time" :ROFLMAO: Its short game is actually pretty good, and it's not a very bouncy feeling rubber until you really hit with it. Also, pretty sure Harimoto uses 2.7mm Zyre...on an inner...

His timing is fine, it's essentially the same as FZD's, allowing for differences in position and direction. See @Archosaurus's 3rd picture for comparison.

I think timing is fine there. That's a really high and deep ball though, and I think the problem I saw in earlier videos is that you're kinda doing the same thing when the ball is shorter and lower. With those balls you reach a little bit and mistime your acceleration so you're not really...

With my BH I was trying to actively use my wrist, definitely learned my lesson there. With my FH I wasn't trying to use my wrist at all, it kind of just happened, and then with more efficient power transfer the looseness of my wrist unexpectedly became an issue. I'm definitely gonna try to keep...

Yes, right now probably the most painful movement is the pendulum service, so like you I've been serving exclusively hook services lol. My BH I think is mostly fine now, but my FH will take some time to fix I'm sure. Given how new this problem is though I'm hopeful that the fix won't take too...

It's probably not gonna be that different. Loki used to offer custom rubbers, so you get all these variations and it's hard to tell which one is just a vendor requested custom rubber (e.g. the Loki Arthur China Pro). I just tried out a Rxton 9 37 degree national, uses the old Rxton 9 blue...

Thinking back to almost 4 years ago when I first started to attempt to rework my technique from the ground up, one of the first things I did was injure my wrist whole trying to develop a BH. I ended up playing through it, using pain as a guide for what NOT to do, and it was very effective in...

A little bit, but more importantly I think you need to move your center of gravity a bit more forward during the shot. Basically move the racket closer to the ball using more than just your arm. You can't always get the starting position right, so the key to just about every shot is to give...

My H3 gets a bit softer after the first boost, then the hardness stays the same afterwards regardless of how many additional boosts. In fact, I think that's been the case for all my rubbers that I've boosted. It's also correlated by the fact that after the first boost, subsequent boosts no...

I feel like my BH loop is very close now. Last two adjustments were 1) keep the racket angle consistent through the final strike, i.e. don't flip the racket. And 2) this is something old but now a focus: move the elbow forward before fixing it during the final strike. #1 really helped with...

Yup, 2 layers of Haifu national yellow as always. I used to do 3 medium layers of regular Seamoon, now I do 1 thin layer followed by 1 medium layer of national yellow for everything I boost.

Got my regular Rxton 9 37, probably gonna try it on my backup racket (Q968). It's kinda weird seeing a blue sponge on a red topsheet. I should have my new Rxton 9 orange sponge 37.5 in a week or so, I'm gonna try it on my primary racket. Rxton 7 37 felt good, but it's more of an upgraded H3 37...

It's a footwork issue. Look at the second video for example, your opponent's first few pushes landed short, you tried to attack them strongly at an earlier timing without stepping forward sufficiently. You ended up reaching for the ball, which slipped off your racket due to not hitting into the...
  14. Loki RXTON 9 new sponge.

It's possible, my friend does it. He brushes really hard and changes his rubbers every month. I don't brush as hard or play as much, so for me it can go for 2-3 months so 1-2 reboost.

You can do that and still stick to the same for the most part! Over the past ~3 years I've been using a 968 variant, 1+ year with the W968, then ~1 year with the Q968, only interrupted by maybe 2-3 months of a FZD ALC in between. Now I've been using the S968 for the past few weeks, with...
  16. Loki RXTON 9 new sponge.

Haven't had an issue with the 3 sheets that we've played with. Note that I also bought 3 sheets from Aliexpress before the more recent 10, but they were purchased only a couple weeks before (thr 10 were shipped by sea, so arrived much later though). The sponge is fairly fragile though, my first...
  17. Loki RXTON 9 new sponge.

Yeah, very possible. I recently bought 10 LACs and measured all of them while still in package. The 5 red ones were remarkably consistent, ranging from 100.7 to 102.2 grams. The 5 black ones were not so much, 2 were within that same range, one was 98, and 2 were 94 grams.
  18. Loki RXTON 9 new sponge.

Gan and coach Xiaoyu both reviewed it and said the 40 degree version is about 52-53 grams cut to Vis. Coach Xiaoyu also reviewed the 37.5 BH version and said it's a bit lighter at around 49 grams.
  19. Loki RXTON 9 new sponge.

I don't think so. Reviewers thus far seem to all think that it's got the clear hand feel of the previous Rxton 9 but has more power on harder shots. I'm testing a bunch of Loki stuff, so hopefully I'll have an idea soon. I've tested the Loki Arthur China (very good), old Rxton 9 40.5 (solid)...
  20. Where to find Genuine Gold Viscaria and W968 ( prott doubt)

In English that's usually referred to as "numbers", as opposed to "letters" for provincial.
