With head heavy design, the COG is easily adjustable. That's probably one of the reasons for the hollow handles. There were a couple of blade designs where different weights could be inserted into the handle, but they did not catch on.

Anyone noticed how XX had to angle his bat almost flat.

I don't recall reading those threads, thanks. I think I'll remove the tape and see what happens. I might get to like the head heavy feature

I had an EJ relapse and was trying an old bat. It felt good but a bit head heavy. I applied some old Kinesiology tape to the handle in order to balance the blade to my liking. The thing is, I am not sure what I shoild be looking for technically other than 'it feels good'. Looking at the...

Good review as always. From the discussion so far, I can see that Tibhar has been really clever in their naming and marketing of the Evo series. Every variation of tensioned-rubber inverted style is covered and it's quite easy to see which way to go (or experiment) without leaving the Evo series.

Sanwei Target National Another alternative is Sanwei target National. I Have seen a well known international player using it.

I detected irony in Briceplan's post

Westerners have always celebrated winning a point in all manner of ways in all sports. Ever heard french players, Allez!! I take it that you think it's alright for players of other cultures to copy western mannerisms but not the other way around? Or for Japanese men to wear western suits but...

Highly recommended trader. The 2nd hand rubber bought was as described. Packaging was more than adequate. Shipment was done as soon as he received payment.

Copies are so unreal I agree with the OP. Let's go further, do you really need a Land Rover when you can have a just as good Land Wind.

That fellow in the 3rd photo down looks like me when I was much younger.

The serve is not unique. Funnily, I played a summer league team match tonight and one player used that serve about 30% of the time.

I used to do a similar action in practice when trying to learn the inside out serve. The spin and swerve that can be generated is quite severe for me. But it was too unreliable. As I said before, excusing the off the fingers throw, the action is quite legal. the double bounce would have to be...

What double touch? Was in an accidental double hit when going forward?

Aside from a hint of throwing from the fingers, I don't see any clear reason for calling fault. In fact I have seen that serve before.

I assume that's why green background (green screen) is used in videography to enable other stuff to be superimposed on the background. One possible reason for the green floor at the Olympics could be to allow static advertising to be superimposed for the TV audience. Or they may project the...

This was probably mentioned before, but how did they get away with a brand name like that? We won't mention the hairstyle.

Look in your German office supplies or hobby store or school supply. They are bound to have an equivalent. Do a search for PVA glue.

This video only has 1600 views up to now so maybe you haven't seen it yet. It features amateur players and in my playing circles I've seen very similar rallies. I guesss that we all play the same. Enjoy

Don't worry about other players. Develop good, legal serves and you won't ever be called.
