Nexy / TAK9.com just uploaded another vid to their youtube channel !! Kim Jung Hoon teaches a player who has had lessons just one month (ONE MONTH !!!) how one can move to hit a ball to their FH. This player is damned good for one month of lessons, usually a Korean coach will not let them do...

Carl made me think about this and I decided to make a separate thread to discuss this. 3 questions. - Why are there SO MANY hollow handle and head heavy weight forward blades being made these days? It seems almost all of them are like this. - Why do TT players prefer (or at least continue to...

A Korean public sports organization made a ONE HOUR + vid promoting TT as a healthy sport. They got Oh Sang Uhn to break the game down for total beginners. Vid talks about a lot fo fundamental stuff we all know. What is remarkable is that a country has enough interest in TT to watch a LONG show...

This vid is nice, but the audio is kinda difficult to hear clearly. Nexy / TAK9.com produced this vid (and its series) (Yeah ! Great stuff!) for the Korean amature crowd... but dog gonnit, we are amatures too and can benefit from it as well. We give credit where it is due, so great job Prez Moon...

Hey everyone, since my last chat with Carl on a thread we drifted off and ended up hijacking, we discussed that thread's OP's Stiga Allround Evolution. I thought about how to make it more offensive minded. Outside of making MYSELF more offensive minded, I decided to go in the only direction...

Nexy / TAK9.com uploaded a vid last year where Kim Juhng Hoon teaches basic at the table BH defense vs fast drives and slower/spinnier loops. 2/3 of the 30 minute lesson covered how to defend at the table vs an incoming fast topspin drive (that doesn't carry a ton of spin) the last 1/3 was vs...

Nexy / TAK9.com just published a 30 minute clip where Korean pro Kim Jung Hoon gives a 30 minute lesson to a Natl Div 4 (slightly above average common Korean club member level). This is all about how to make a fast loopdrive vs an incoming underspin. This is how to step around and make fast...

I finally received my Stiga Allround Evolution blade today. This is a bat inspired by TTD member UpsideDownCarl, since he touts an Allround Evolution with Omega IV that is pretty bad-azz, so I just had to get me an Allround Evolution and see for myself how "Bad" it is. Bad for opponents that...

Since I realized I failed to cough up an 896 special to the NYC crowd, I made one. Today. A beast weighing in at 85 grams original blade weight, OK weight) made heavier to 92 grams (now that's BETTER) and heavier by grip tape. (97 grams !! Even Moar Better !!) Total weight for this Franken-bat...

I plan on being in NYC for a Korean American TT Tourney Labor Day weekend near Flushing. Tourney is Monday, but I will likely be in NYC Saturday early afternoon for some TT action and adventure. I am with the Boston team. I plan on going to the Korean club in Flushing to practice and have fun. I...

With everyone talking about this OFF to OFF wooden bat and all the new talk about H3 (my old sheet is ancient (3 yrs old) on a backup bat)... I got me a hankering to do something about it. Well I decided to buy and assemble my own OFF class wooden bat Clipper wannabe with H3. (and Inspirit...

Getting a new XC70 from the factory but looks like no tt this mission. Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk

I see a user FutureAudio with a thousand plus posts and registered only a day ago. haha, he deserved a badge for a record spamming if that is the case. If that is really the case, then the TTD staff deserves a medal for record spam clean-up, since I didn't see any spam from FutureAudio.

late report of Westchester September 2013 Open... I showed up Saturday afternoon somewhere in Manhattan and metup with forum member PingPongHolic. We walked through the streets to a sports club and had the staff setup a beat up table in an open area of an unused BB court with lots of dead...

I am in my last few weeks over here in Korea during a very prolonged stay. I have a ton of friends and one of them called me up yesterday and asked me to stop by his TT club. I did not know this friend had already opened a Korean Ping Pong place, this evening, I made my way to that part of my...

KFTTC got together with the Seoul Vietnamese student association and a local TT club (Sang-Am) for a farewell tourney to Der_Echte. I am the one with a short haircut and big arms/legs. I leave next month after 4 years in Korea. I got a LOT of pics and war stories. My student friends got...

I was able to make my way to Nexy HQ to get my own Arirang blade just before the wave of testers got theirs haha. They can flame me all they want all good with me. Check my FB page for my pics and periodic write-ups. I will also post some observations here and I think Nexy.com will post about...

Recently, you all saw a thread about my new friend Firdaus making a visit to Korea for sightseeing, enjoying time with friends, and of course TABLE TENNIS !!! Going to a new country, NOT knowing anyone there, AND trying to do stuff is usually a recipe for EPIC failure. Well, in most cases, YES...

Recently, someone asked me my opinion on the main differences between T05 and Tibhar Aurus. I replied with the following mini-review below. if you want the short answer why I switched from T05 on FH wing to Tibhar Aurus, read the last paragraph called SUMMARY. Remember, this is MY Opinion, and...
