Both rubbers are great on Boll ALC. Very spin sensitive though so look elsewhere if that bothers you. FX is softer which some people find easier on open ups, more forgiving of imperfect timing and footwork, but bouncier/trickier to control over the table. Also softer gives you lower top speed and spin in theory, but many pros with high powered backhands have used FX so that's unlikely to be a real problem for most people.Got it.
