Nice! These look good. Spiffy. Makes you want to try then.

What are the spec?. How fast are these? What materials? It looks like there are some burner wood plies. Do either have Carbon or other composite materials?

I like the burned plies in the Peter Pan blade. They give it great feeling with a lot of control, good dwell time, and great spin all in an Off- blade.

The Akrasia is the result from teh challenge to Nexy Korea President (Oscar Moon) to design and release the "World's Fastest Blade". I do not think the top end will be faster than say, the Boll Tri-Carbon was, but the idea Oscar had making it was to make the fastest possible blade that will still generate topsin in normal strokes with acceptable control. hard to say OFF++ , topspin, and control in the same sentence with a straight face, but that was the objective with Akrasia.

Zealot will be a different feel offensive blade. Thsoe pics are from teh Korean "Hedgehog" TT forum from Korea. Hedgehog owns his own blade testing company that is really gee-whiz high speed that will test very possible factor and he must have done detailed analysis on hundreds of blades.

Well, if I ever get to Korea, I plan to force you to give me the tour, which means I may just have to drag you with me. :)

By the time you decide to go there, I might be living there again.

The two specialy defensive baldes are the Actium (branded by Tibhar, but designed by Nexy Korea President) and the Tuvalu.

Both are Dual Speed blades designed for Modern Defenders who want to play like Joo Sae Hyuk. (mostly chopping with LP and inverted, but sudden & decisive topsin offense)

This feature means one side is slower (for BH defense) and one side of the blade is faster (for FH offense) There is one gear diffence in speed on each side and it is noticable.

The more lovely looking balde is the Tuvalu, named after the island that is slowy sinking into the sea. The Actium is the hot new blade that just hit the market and reviewed by several TTD forum memebrs that Nexy Korea selected during a thread several months back.

sorry for asking the question that didn't relate to this thread but I want to know about the Nexy blade that good for flat hitting, block and counter hit.

Can you give me any suggestion, pls.

That sounds a lot like the nexy Kanaph.

But that isn't the only one.

In GENERAL, blades that perform those three tasks are predominately very fast, solid blades.

From Nexy Lineup Oscar and Hanibal are optimal, Qabod isnt a slouch either. Kanaph can do it to, yet it has more topspin producing potential.

If a player is a close to the table counterhitter, then SLOWER blades work suprisingly great. They allow you to hit hard vs incoming drives and still land it. Our natural knee jerk reaction to make an offensive shot is to make a swing with a little power. Using OFF+ and OFF++ speed blades, this is difficult to execute that and still land it consistently. Your average everyday ALL+ class blade shines on that shot and many players do not realize that.

Lissom is the best Nexy has for the ALL+ class followed by Peter Pan. Color from Nexy Korea is good for that too.

The thing about ALL+ or so class blades is they are not very crisp on blocks and flat hits, you can do those shots, but it isn't as intuitive using an ALL+ class blade. Myself, I can block with ANYTHING, give me an ALL+ blade or higher, slap on a cheepo or expensive rubber, and get me on the table, job done. Key is taking ball off bounce to make the spin bite less. Other key is hand pressure at impact. Firm for faster blocks, loose for soft block to kill spin and pace.

I would be pimping our Nexy USA website normally, but our market is North America, so Nexy Korea gets some free marketing. A drawback with ordering internationally is shipping. This is a drag for all companies who ship international. There is no international shipping service available that is acceptably fast, secure, AND low cost, so shipping costs are obviously higher than if you bought within your own country or if in Europe, then same continent. Buying all the gear from the same place is an obvious way to make the average cost of shipping per item lower. Nexy Korea often has Evolution MX-P on sale, so to overcome the shipping costs, a customer buying 8 sheets would make shiping cost a few Euros per sheet, a decent value if the rubber costs 5-10 Euros less than your loal area. That is how you save per item, also one could bundle their order and another friend's order, people do that oo.

The soon to hit the market AKRASIA will prolly be exactly what you are looking for. I do not know intial pricing, but it isn't going to be a bargain basement item, it is a premium blade. Right now, OSCAR is your best bet for price/performance in those areas you noted followed by Kanaph at that price point.
