haha standing in formation and wearing Army clothes became hardcore? haha these guys and gals wouldn't know hardcore if it popped up and hit them across their head. Maybe some already know, but hardcore sure isn't about forming up and moving into a barracks.

Well they are all hardcore sports trainers that stretch physical limits we amatures dont or will likely never. Giving up ten hours plus a day physical traing isnt a joke. The military stuff they are doing is so light and easy for them it is prolly a vacation to them.

5th (December 18th) Day Military Training
5th day's military training included 5 kilometer non-stop walking started at 10:00AM with no food provided along the way. Lunch were only provided at the destination. So, if you are hungry, walk fast. Zhang Jike was missing from the action. He was out for a social engagement to promote the sport.

CNT is taking the following extreme precautions to protect its members from foreseeable harm.
1. Beijing is notorious for its smog condition, and long time outdoor activities under heavy smog could be harmful to one's health. Therefore, before the military training started, Liu Guoliang requested that an indoor facility be provided for CNT's training if the smog condition reaches harmful level during the seven day training. The measure was taken to minimize CNT members' exposure to harmful elements. A huge garage was chosen eventually for the purpose.
2. During the military training, all the meat in CNT members' meals will be brought over from CNT. The main reason for bringing the team's own meat supply is to always get prepared for any unannounced doping check by ITTF. The team wants to make sure that the food for team members are always safe and clean of any suspicious ingredients.
3. At winter time, Beijing's temperature is usually under zero degree Celsius. For a table tennis player, his/her hands mean a lot to him/her. In order to protect the players' hands from frostbite, which could affect his/her performance in the forthcoming winter training and team trial for 2014 World Team Championship, CNT supplied team members with uniform special gloves. The women will be wearing pink gloves while the men will wear dark blue ones.
