Hey I want to buy a q968 from prott. It's Worth to buy the national version or is the provincial version also fine ?
You should be aware that not everything sold by prott.vip is genuine (this is a general known fact my collector friends close to CNT have confirmed with me)

Oh that I didn't know. But is there no code verification by DHS. And where should I buy instead. Do you know trustworthy seller ?
The code verification is advertised very hard by fake sellers because the code itself is easy to fake. The codes are not linked to any product so you can just swap it from a cheap DHS product. Not only that but you can also buy the stickers in bulk on Chinese black market.

Prott is always safe. His clothings are replica (which i still mostly buy), but his DHS products are legit and many forum members have bought 968 blades from him with little to no problems. Don’t worry about getting any fakes from him. And get the provincial version, it’s not worth spending 500 usd for a national Q if the provincial Q for basically half the price is pretty much the same thing according to some chinese friends I’ve talked to

Only on this forum do people think that. The sentiment is much different on Chinese forums and among Chinese collectors.

Ok thanks. For me the q968 prov cost 250 USD. The national 400 USD. The shape of the whole blade looks different between both. Doesn't make this a different playing characteristics?
You should ask @disaster3 and @Wrighty67 they would know more than me

I don’t trust the so called “Wang Chuqin personal H3” and other players equipment, but the commercial DHS equipment from the Star H3 all the way down to commercial H3 is legit and verified by myself and many others, including some chinese friends of mine

It is difficult question to answer, I have both with different rubbers.
On Nat. I have DHS H3 Neo BS Prov 2.1 40* + T19 max
On Prov. I have Loki RxtonIX BS Nat + Omega 7 Pro

Both rubbers on Prov are easier to play for amateurs compared to those from Nat (based on reviews on YT), and from my experience it's easier to play with Prov setup than Nat, too also my friend recently who tried both came to the same conclusion.
And the question is still unanswered is it influence of rubbers or blade or maybe both. I don't know if I will know the answer as I got back to my Timo Boll ZLF with Tenergies which I like the most and I know that my Golden Viscaria reached local customs so I'm in the starting blocks to go to the post office and pick up the package :D

Short Update: I removed the Sticker and got a 22 digit code, which I successfully valided at the DHS site. So the Blade seems genuine. It was a real bargain. Only paid 190,- EUR.
May I ask you a question? With sticker you refer to the white label on the box that displays the batch, the weight and so on?

Once you get to the page from DHS to verify the code - unless I am mistaken - you receive the feedback in Chinese. How are you able to understand the exact meaning? I am not sure in the meantime DHS has implemented an English version.

I think you mix 2 things, The information provided on the box/additiona white sheet (in the case of prov and commercial versions) is different from the validation code. Validation code is placed on the wrapping foil which covers the blade (not the box) and hidden under a layer that must be scratched off. Once scratched off, you see that someone did something with this blade. Then if it is brand new, and you scratch the layer to see the code and provide the information on DHS site, you also see the information (you can use translation) whether this is genuine product and also you get the information if it this code was checked for the first time or subsequent.
Going forward commercial versions (Nat, Prov, Comm) wrapped in the foil are genuine.... player edition we never know as they were used

I don't have a prov version but a commercial and a national - the difference is there for sure in terms of quality and balance and also the blade feel. The national feels slightly softer and more controlled but more powerful when engaged. I am not sure it is worth the premium but as with most things the returns are diminishing as you pay more.

I have been doing similar with the Q and S vs my regular Vis (which I think is a good one and have always liked)

Bottom line is the Q is the balanced option and plays much better than W across both wings in my view. The S I had hoped would be the answer to my Vis, but although it felt faster and more direct, and so closer in this regard, I could not get used to the much head heavier balance of the blade. My Q and S are both 94g and both came in around 195g with H3 but the Q felt fairly light and balanced whereas the S always felt heavy in my hand, to the extent I gravitated away from it. I even built it up with Xiom O7 Euro on BH to reduce overall weight to 190g but it still felt unbalanced to me.

Ultimately I just kept gravitating back to my Vis and have ordered a golden and a Nat team blade (Vis with Stiga handle made for FZD) in order to try these two and see how they have evolved from my standard Vis. The BH on the Vis is just too good to be without for a player like me trying hard to develop my BH side.

I am keeping the Q because I do like it and when looking for a more FH dominant / slower / more controlled blade then this is a great option.
Thank you for your explanation. I am thinking of getting the Q968.
PROTT has this..2024 DHS new product DHS Offcial National Q968.
Is this the Q968 you are talking about? or a different one.
Please let me know.
Thank you in advance.
