I really didnt like the final..
It was the worst match from all..
Too bad Maze had a pain again.. grr..

Why did you think Maze was injured ?

Freitas is a really strong player, just behind Ovtcharov, Boll and Samsonov.
Against Freitas, Maze played a good level, but Freitas was more efficient in backhand and forehand top spin. Perhaps, Maze was tired because of his last performances. I didn't think he was injured.

Also, Ovtcharov wasn't at his high level. Lack of concentration ? Lack of physical condition ? Despite it, he stays a good player.

We know for sure about the good comeback of Maze. If Maze will go on physical training, he could comeback among top 20.

Why did you think Maze was injured ?

.

He was obviously struggling with his back, the fact he was holding it all the time is a giveaway! Maybe he exaggerated a little as to how much effect it had, but anybody who's had back trouble will recognise the movements of discomfort he was making at times. I would think that's impossible to fake convincingly.
