A bit surprised that Han Ying actually beat Sabine Winter. I think Sabine didnt really train using the anti for off the bounce dropshots to kill the backspin and then following it up by powerful FH loopkills. Instead she was brute force looping very strong underspin chops by Han Ying which is how she usually plays with 2x inverted but is definitely not the ideal playstyle now that she has antispin BH.

She should take some inspiration from Ito who always destroys choppers using similar tactics.
It may come as a surprise that this was the first time Han Ying beat Winter in 3 international encounters. It was close the first time with all games within a 2-point margin at ETTC 2020 (postponed to 2021), and HY forfeited due to her ankle injury without playing a point the second time at ETTC 2022. The final at the nationals in 2022 ended in Winter's favor as well.

Big B has a good foundation from childhood and is extremely talented. He has the firepower on both FH and BH, coupled with strength and speed. It could be better if he's coached by other coahces

He have a great DNA from his family, and since he's a toddler, he was fully supported by a father, a mother, grand parents, uncle... He could benefit from the full support of a big club, in a big city. And most of it, he is a very hard worker, and never gave up even struggling with health issue, younger.

Winning has barely nothing to do with one coach. It' Alexis who played, supported by a whole professional team.

In addition, and let's say it's a cultural thing: Only based on body language, in France most players would dream about being coached by Molin. I doubt more than a few dream of being coached by the Chinese ones, even if things appear better than before.

It is becoming a bit troublesome to watch Truls, apart from that ”Viking” spirit commentator talk about ( the rest of us would say annoying screaming). His focus comes and goes between high and low during his games. Will he ever find any stability or is he deemed to become a talented club-player with a fairly short career?

You have to realize, many people believe only Asian coaches understand table tennis, not without some justification, but to a point of disregard for great work.

The lengths some fans will go to to discredit pro players with massive achievements is fairly hilarious.

"Oh, you don't just have one, you have one from Houston, one from Paris, one from the European Champs in Sweden, and oh sorry, you had two from Paris..."

What an amateur player! So inconsistent... we wish he was the far more consistent Hugo... or Lin Yun Ju... or (put X superstar here with no medals)...
