Do you mean that his fastest BH shots are faster than his fastest FH shots? I think the amount of speed he generates on his BH is tremendous given the lenght of the stroke compared to the FH

It is not completely about the length of stroke.. It is also of the mechanic(dynamic) and rubber of course.... And yes with backhand you are able to be faster in some cases, but it is harder stroke

i guess his FH still is faster if you give the time for a perfect one. but yes it is amazing how quick his motion is and how speedy his BH loop is
