Hi I'm John from Glasgow.
I'm 41 yrs old and have just returned to the sport after 26 years, I played for around 18 months as a thirteen year old but drifted away from the game.
I joined a local club in October 13' and have progressed reasonably well, we should be competing in the Wosttl div 3 next year, our club is the Joe Wilson TT Club based in Motherwell just outside Glasgow.
I won the inaugural club championship last month which I was pretty pleased with.
Not many achievements.... Yet!
Thanks for ploughing through my opening ramble.
Great site guys.

Hi everybody!
My name is Dionysis and I was born in '78. I played for six years ('87-'93), then I had a pause for 17 years due to studying and then taking up football, and since 2011 I'm back at the table loving our sport and not forgiving myself for my long break.
I play at a local club in Patra, competing in the third Greek division.

I returned to the game due to the fact that my place of work installed a table in our recreation area.
I had to join a club as I wasn't really being challenged at work although I do have a training partner for lunch breaks 😀.
I watched Liam Pitchford and Gao Ning's match today and I've got to say Liam done himself proud.
Drumchapel have a great set up and are one of the biggest clubs in Scotland.
I'm just finding my way again and hope to keep progressing as I have been when we enter the league next coming season.
Thanks for the welcome.

Awesome stuff! A lot of work places are having tables installed in seems to be a great way to get players back into the game. Yh it sure was a great match and hes showing that he can compete with the worlds best.

Yeah they have a very good setup and have produced some great players over the years. No worries John see you around.

World Youth Games was the best TT experience. Currently I am ranked 35th in India.
Found out about this site through some post on FB.

Hey y'all,

I'm Kris and I'am 23 years old. Been playing table tennis at TTC Middelburg for 16 years now and played all levels in the Junior league and now progressing a bit slower with the Seniors. I'm a fan of trying out new material to advice people on my club. At my club in The Netherlands I give training, coach our first juniors team in the second highest division, and assist all juniors with going to tournaments. Besides that I'm training 3 times per week and manage our clubs website.
My best personal achievements aren't that notable. Furthermore do I like football, volleyball and traveling.

If you have any questions, feel free to pm me.

Hi I'm Jack, you may remember me Dan, I met you at BATTS at the weekend when Persson and Waldner were there.
I'm 16 years old and I've played for 8 years at Stowmarket TTC, I've also represented my county and I'm part of the Eastern region squads.
Proudest moment was winning club championships which were re-introduced in memory of our old coach who sadly passed away.

Hi i'm Sven, i play around 8 years in a small club that plays on the provincial level here in Belgium, TTC Tacko to be specific (if you really want to know more just google it and the first link will bring you to our website, i can't post the link here yet as i haven't posted enough), i have a E2 classification and that probably doesn't make any sense to you guys :p but rankings go: A-level, B0, B2, B4, B6, C0,... you get the point not that high. Anyway, my greatest achievement is wining the provincial doubles championships in my class (E-class) with a good friend of mine
