So, Oh Sang Eun is out..
Kenta Matsudaira is out..
Chuang survived his battle against Jian Zhan..
Korbel had a funny match winning 6th set 20:18 against Hiromitsu Kasahara..
I tell you, Korbel vs. Mizutani will be quite awesome!
Korbel is former top 20 player, he is still good
Anyways, it will be probably very good match, Chuang Chih-Yuan vs. Lin Gaoyuan in the semifinals.. ;-)

The Chinese team really brought out their young players in full forth this tournament. It should be interesting to watch and see how they do. A lot of them have already been pretty impressive by beating Oh, Chan Kasuhiro, Seo Hyun Deok, kenta, and yosida.

I think Song Hongyuan has a good chance of winning it. If not him, then no one can overcome Mizutani probably

Anyone know why China does not send their top players to tournaments like this or the Korean Open? I guess it is nice to see other people win tournaments. But I always wonder why there are certain tournaments that they just don't send their top players to.

It looks like China don't want their top players being too exhaust from having super league and korea/japan pro tour simultaneously. Especially they got timo boll in CTTSL right now, they most likely want to focus on this instead of the pro tour until the 2nd China Open

China Super League. Okay. That makes sense why the top guns are not at these forums. But I know that last year China got shut out of the Pro Tour Grand Finale because they had not played at venues on enough different continents. And they really do not show up to a lot of the tournaments.

4 Japanese in the semi's. That is something to be proud of. I found this remarkable: Kishikawa wins 4-3 against Matsudaira, last 3 games 5-11,2-11,3-11. And in the next round he also comes back from 3-1 down. Very impressive. Also Koki Niwa's victory against Lin Gaoyuan is a very impressive one.
