Here we go TTD, lets discuss this incredible event, what a line up! Winner of last weeks Swedish Open Wang Chuqin who is currently world number 22 has entered the German Open... can he win a back to back World Tour? Will Fan Zhendong rise this time round or Xu Xin? Could Harimoto go on a rampage? Hugo, Timo and Ovtcharov will all be looking to find form.

A fantastic event to follow, be sure to get involved on the TTD discussions.We can use this thread as a means to display all the latest results, videos and news from this spectacular World Tour event! What are your predictions from each event.

Its a bit ridiculous, but we have a Platinum event back-to-back with the Swedish Open where all the big names were already there

So we take the same entry list (+ maybe Boll Samsonov and Lin Yunju if they feel better ?) of players and we can have some rematches ?

Will Wang Chuqin be as dominant in Germany as in Sweden and show his strength to the world again ?
Can Ito find the resources to titillate the Chinese players again ?
Will Harimoto redeem himself ? Can Ishikawa finally break the curse and silence Zeio ?
Can Ovtcharov confirm his new form in front of his home crowd ?

just to be clear: i like Kasumi very much and I am a fan (who keeps hoping)

The only time I REALLY felt upset about her is when i asked for her signature and she dismissed me...
[this year at Yokohama for the Asian cup; Hirano and Harimoto also didn't give me their signature; tbh everyone was asking for it]

Will FAN Zhendong find winning ways again ?
Can European players do worse than in Sweden ?

I hope to see Fan Zhendong find form. Will a European find form like Ovtcharov did in 2017?

maybe if she knew about this forum, she'd finally get the motivation she needs to overcome her demons

For most people, motivation does not grow from negativity (yes, "anger is an energy", per Johnny Rotten, true, butbutbut).

What's up with Ma Long these days? Is he taking the ZJK route?

Yes that's true, we also have Hugo who is a big threat and Timo. I would love to see Timo or Dima go far as it makes the atmosphere amazing in Germany.

@yoass

No i think MA Long's back or somewhere else must be really hurting and he wants just time to heal and rest. Tokyo is quite far still, he will have enough time before the Olympics to get enough competition. I don't think we will see him play before February or March 2020, just like LIU Shiwen this year did if IIRC

@zeio

she's really kawaii in this video !
