Our Bad-Azz friend won the Hardbat Singles in 2021 US Open. I guess the venue was cold as he put something over his uniform .

Hi NDH,

I think US Table Tennis read my idea about trophies. Usually, the trophies are something you do not think are representative of achievement, and they cost a HUGE amount of money for the tourney director.

I have always said it is much less expensive and much more meaningful/practical/rewarding to player to issue a ribbon and coin (looks good and represents achievement well) and make just one HUGE MEGA sized trophy and spend some money on that... and have the winner take a pic with the huge trophy with a good backdrop.

I would say THAT gives a more professional look to the player and longer memories.
